"Date of transaction 04/18/2025 I hired this contractor to asphalt my small driveway. He completed the job, I paid him, and as he left, he promised to email me a receipt and encouraged me to reach out if any issues arose. Like an idiot, I only did a cursory inspection before handing over the cash. 04/22/2025 But a few days after heavy rain, there are now water-filled depressions. I sent the contractor a picture to inform them about this issue. 04/23/2025 The contractor stopped by and tried to fix it quickly by using a blow torch to soften and melt asphalt to fill cracks and smooth rough areas. But that did not work, and now the treated area is discolored and crumbling. I called the contractor, and he said we needed to wait 3 weeks for things to settle, and they would come out to fix it. 05/08/2023 After not hearing from the contractor, I Called to follow up on the status, and the guy was rude and condescending and told me they would be here in 3 weeks. That's about 5 weeks in total."
