"I called these guys to install a ceiling fan in my kitchen along with two switches, one for the light and one for the fan. I also asked them to install an outlet for the hot water heater. I was in a hurry and needed it done fairly quickly. The first price he gave me was $1,500. I almost started to laugh. When I thanked him for coming out and told him we would look elsewhere, the price dropped to a FRACTION of what was quoted. If I had let them they would have robbed me blind. If you call these guys, hold on to your wallet. Or be prepared to negotiate. When I call an electrician, I expect a fair quote for the job being done. If I were not in a hurry, I would have thrown this guy out."

"I met with four companies, and 3D Solar was by far the best. They were professional and on-time for the initial sales pitch. If they didn't have the answers to all of my questions right away, they got back to me quickly which was great. The whole process from start to finish (actually seeing results on your electric bill) can take four months, so be patient. Anyhow, the install went great, and 3D Solar was good about getting everything set up with the county and the electric company. Any issues or questions, and they have gotten back to me right away. "We had a massive leak in the shower of the guest bathroom. Since plumbing was one of the systems covered by our warranty with choice, I went on-line and filed a claim. I git an immediate response assigning me a claim number for reference and later that day received an appointment notice....GREAT customer service. The plumber arrived, at the time specified, and was immediately able to pin point the problem. (a defective shower cartridge) I have used Choice Home Warranty multiple times as my home ages and they pay for the replacement parts if needed. My "deductible" is a $45 fixed rate for the service call, no matter how long, or complicated the repair is. I absolutely am delighted with the customer service, fast response, low cost of a service visit, and NO surprises, or "fine print" excuses regarding coverage. They provide a list, in writing, of what is covered and what is not and do not deviate so I make sure my problem is on the list before filing a claim."

"Got the job done correctly. Also they were open and attentive to questions. Thought they were a bit inflexible with cost of project, initially quoting $1500 instead of $350 because chosen location for outlet was 10 feet instead of 5 feet from electric panel. I’m no expert but this seemed an unreasonable price difference for a few feet of cable. To resolve the issue I had them place the outlet closer to the panel."
