"Bathroom was seriously outdated, by about 50 years, in a 90-year old house. Project included new fixtures, tiling, and plumbing and heating repairs. Came out great. There were numerous other fixes and repairs needed in the rest of house--electrical, plumbing, heating, appliance installation, which were often difficult because of retrofitting an old house, tight spaces, and hodge podge of modifications over the years. Contractor did great work and was a good trouble shooter and problem solver for an older and challenging house. Willing to work with me so I purchase materials when I preferred to do that. Showed up on time, worked hard, did more than expected, and got the job(s) done!"

"Nathan was our hero. Right before the Labor Day weekend, the plumbing backed up and we knew we had a clog somewhere. He came out the same day I called, determined where the clog was, and went to work. He snaked the line to the street and found that the line was not clogged but broken. This was a whole new mess, but he got us started on the right path. He also explain some issues with the plumbing inside the house, and explained what we would want to do to correct them. He was professional, knowledgeable, and very responsive. I will be calling him again for any other plumbing needs."

The two servicemen that came for the job were prompt, knowledgeable, professional, through and cleaned up any mess at the end of the job. "I had a 50-year-old house with a cinderblock basement wall that had water slowly coming through. I researched the various firms that did waterproofing and had three highly rated firms come out for an estimate. The first contractor didn’t even bring a flashlight and just looked around and said to keep an eye on it. The second gentlemen did provide detailed estimate and carefully explained the problem. Randy, the owner, from Chamberlin Washington provided a similar diagnosis and estimate. His estimate was not only a little less expensive but he looked at the entire house and found other things that could use some maintenance. This is what I liked about Randy – he looked at the whole house and discovered several smaller things that should be fixed to avoid issues down the road. These were all things I knew about already but I’m glad someone took the time to examine the entire house and not just the one issue I was having. We had then not only waterproof the outside wall but also fill the expansion joints in our patio and seal one basement window as well as re-point some mortar joints in the brink chimney. When the crew came they went to work. They also did an admirable job protecting our plants. An old section of of a 6' high stockade fence had to be removed and I bough a new section and the crew was happy to put that up. When they water tested the wall they found a small leak. They re-did the sealant and that did the trick. Randy came out and supervised critical parts of the job. He was great to work with and happily fixed a few small things at the end. Randy really cares about doing the job right. I am 100% pleased with the work they did. I watched over much of the repair and everything was done correct and by the book. Overall I can't say enough about how pleased I was with Chamberlin-Washington and their work. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone."

"It went very well. After a bit of a wait, I received a very comprehensive report of 88 specific items as well as bacteria, fungi and particles. Each Item detected over the EPA drinking water limits had an explanation sheet. Also provided was a contact person at the company to address any questions you had about the report findings. I thought the service was well worth the $300 just for the peace of mind. I intend to use the company on an annual basis going forward."

"He did excellent work and didn't charge when he first came out to check the condition of the kitchen faucet and fixed the garbage disposal for free. He also told us that we could replace our Delta faucet for free, under warranty, which we did and then he installed the new faucet. He also disposed of the old Tiolets."

"Our contractor did not put a trap on the kitchen sink in our house, presumably because the garbage disposal could serve as one.  As a result, our kitchen reeked.   <br /> I called Hughart's on Friday, January 24.  Was told by the scheduler that they would be able to come by on Tuesday, January 27. Travis, the plumber, called me a little later on the 24th and said that he had time to come by and take a look that day.  Travis and James came by minutes later.  We saw that we probably wouldn't have room to place a trap under the sink in the cabinet, so James had the idea to place one in the basement where the pipe ran between the floor joists.  They weren't able to complete the work that day because of time, but they did not charge me for the service call.  I like the fact that they were able to troubleshoot and come up with a solution instead of going the trial-and-error route. <br /> Travis and James showed up early on the 27th to complete the work, which took them all of maybe 30 minutes.  On both visits, they were extremely professional -- courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable.  I will definitely call them for any other issue in the future <br />"

"Home and changes are fine, but footer leaks and had to install sump pump and dehumidifier with full encap in crawl space. Also, builder didn’t use full dimensional lumber, but used ijoists without fire protection. Carried plastic gas line through the crawl space wall. Used 5x5 wooden piers to hold up my home instead of building block piers. Had to install jack posts to cover for this."
