"I was looking to replace our tile countertops with solid-surface or quartz countertops. We liked the Quantra Quartz line sold by Oregon Tile and Marble. We asked them to hold two slabs for us and then went looking for fabricators around the Portland area. We got quite bids from a number of fabricators with a wide range in price. All of these were A-rated on AL. We chose Milan Stoneworks from all the bids because of a combination of price/responsiveness/details mentioned in the quote, etc. They were not the cheapest, but then you do get what you pay for. <br /> I talked to Dan a couple of times and found him to be very professional. His crew (for template and later on, installation) were always on time, did excellent work and cleaned up after they left. I was also impressed when I saw that the installation crew helped the floor installer move some kitchen appliances. <br /> I would definitely use them in the future and would recommend them. <br />"

"Artistic Stone was very easy to work with and very helpful in our decision on what material to use to replace old tile countertops. We had some delays on our side in the project and they were patient with us and also held their pricing while we worked through our schedule issues. I dealt with them by email and phone and they were also very responsive. They also followed up to check on our status on getting other parts of our project finished. The quartz we selected was on back order for several weeks and the installation was scheduled for early December. The installers arrive on time and cleaned up at the end of the day. The job took 2 days and all went smoothly. The installers were great and worked late on a Friday night to finish up the job. The day after the countertops were installed, we found a couple of small chips inon the countertop for a small stand alone cabinet. called them on this and the Artistic Stone installer came back out within a couple of days and fixed the chips and buffed out the countertop. All look beautiful and really brighten up our kitchen and bath. We’re very pleased with their work and support of our project. Highly recommend Artistic Stone."

"Sorin was great to work with -prompt, professional, and has great tile ideas.  He was able to incorporate some existing tile I had left over from a kitchen remodel and use them in the fireplace design. I have to admit, his suggestions turned out way better than the design ideas I had, and am so happy I went with his suggestions!  His prices are reasonable and consistent with other bids, but I went with Sorin because he showed up right on time for an estimate appointment and followed up with with a phone call within 2 weeks, and this is where other tile contractors failed. "Custom Marble made two vanity tops for me. One single size for the kids' bathroom and one double sink for the master bath. I gave them measurements for the first one and installed it myself. The second one was more complicated so they came to measure and then came back to install. It has been about 8 years now and both still look great! Both product and service were excellent and I am now working on a new project and considering another large vanity top from them again. So I looked them up on the CCB website and was happy to see they are still in business. I highly recommend!"

"This job went perfectly! We found Solid Solutions on Angie's List and went through a home improvement store since they were the Corian contractors for that company. Mike called us less than 24 hrs. after we'd put in our initially inquiry. The next day he was out measuring. One week later they came out to template and a week after that our countertops were installed! The installers, Matt and Blake, were very respectful, informative and easy to communicate with. In fact, everyone at the company with whom I dealt was. Everyone who came to the house for the various stages of the project arrived on time (if not early), and fully cleaned up after themselves.
