This entails a lot <br>of careful detailed work to free-up the windows by removing the lead paint, <br>re-balancing the original weights and installing new cords. Patty Spencer,  <br>the owner, and her assistant worked like surgeons. They set up an air-tight <br>enclosure in each room to contain the lead paint. Vacuums were on <br>almost all the time for further safety. Different electric tools were used <br>for different tasks to minimize damage to the windows. The outcome <br>is fantastic! All seven windows she repaired now work perfectly.  <br>There is nothing like a window that opens for cross ventilation <br>on a hot day. "We hired Lex Construction for siding replacement and exterior paint, which included replacing two windows, some general construction to repair bulges in the studs and some roofing/fascia board repair. Of all the companies we had bid, we really felt like Mike listened to our vision and didn’t feel the need to rearrange it to his preference. He also gave us some great suggestions and recommendations, some which we decided to go ahead with and some not. The price was really reasonable, and we ended up adding the front deck replacement mid-project. Both Mike and Troy were responsive and courteous, and did a great job, as well as the contractors that covered the roofing and paint. A few minor details were missed between what we discussed and what they executed, but nothing major. "Ron did an outstanding job on replacing some of the underlayment that needed to be replaced under the carpet. The damaged pieces were removed and the new underlayment was cut and replaced before I knew it. He also removed the threshold to the outside from that room and sealed the areas where the water might have been leaking. He also installed and metal kick-plate to the front door. I am very pleased at the quality and professionalism of Ron and his assistant."
