"I had my front steps completely rebuilt and I couldn?t be happier with the results. From start to finish, the crew was professional, punctual, and very respectful of my property. The new steps look beautifully done?better than I imagined. They paid attention to every detail and made sure the work was done right. I?ve already gotten compliments from neighbors, and I?d highly recommend them to anyone in need of masonry or repair work.?"

"The reason why we did not give 5 stars for this project: 1. The project materials deposited on our neighbors backyard. It took a long time to get someone from the company to come to move it to our lot. Still, he left some of it and we had to move it ourselves. 2. Despite our requests to start the noisy work at 8AM the work always started at 7:30AM. 3. The brick part of the porch was supposed to be pointed the project manager asked us to agree to remove the low brick wall and wanted to charge us $8K for it while pointing is more work intensive than removing the bricks. At the end he lowered the price but did not do the pointing on the remainder of the bricks that left in the supporting columns. We had to hire someone to do it and it cost us extra $950. 4. When the trash container removed from our backyard, we left with a lot of debris and again we needed to clean it ourselves."

"John and his crew were amazing. We bought a family-owned duplex that needed a complete gut and redo including hardscape and landscape. We wanted the current stairs covered with blue stone and fieldstone and new plants, seeding, new patio and stepping stones. His team worked beautifully at transforming what was once old and outdated to something new, fresh and modern. We cannot be more pleased by the results. The entire experience working with John was wonderful. He is extremely professional, responsive and communicative and the work was fairly priced in my mind. I would totally recommend him to anyone looking for an update both in landscaping and hardscaping and I would hire him again in a heart-beat! Thanks so much John and Greenskeepers for helping us transform our family duplex into an amazing beautiful home!"

"Adelino did a great job replacing my front steps. He was respectful a fair price and the best mason person around. He then fixed my bricks on my back patio. They also cleaned up and made the place better than they started."

FAQs for brick and stone patios, walks, and steps installation projects in Fall River, MA

When cleaning your flagstone patio, begin by gently hosing off loose dirt and debris. Use a mild solution of white vinegar and water or diluted dish soap to scrub the surface with a soft-bristled brush. Avoid using abrasive tools, such as wire brushes, as they can damage the stone’s seal and finish. This careful approach effectively removes mold and grime while preserving the natural beauty of your patio.

Flagstone naturally offers a neutral palette that includes shades of grey, black, red, yellow, brown, and tan, and its inherent color cannot be altered. Choosing varieties like bluestone provides a subtle bluish tint that complements many exterior designs. These natural hues enhance curb appeal and create a refined, timeless look in your outdoor space, ensuring a sophisticated finish with minimal upkeep.

Flagstone for a patio must have a minimum thickness of 1.5 inches to reliably support furniture and foot traffic. Using stone that is two to three inches thick is recommended to ensure lasting durability. The increased thickness prevents cracking under load and enhances long-term performance. Investing in thicker flagstone provides superior stability and resistance to weather conditions, ensuring your outdoor space remains both safe and attractive.

You can paint a flagstone patio by using a high-quality, outdoor elastomeric latex paint designed for heavy foot traffic. Painting not only refreshes the patio’s appearance but also creates a waterproof barrier that protects the stone from damage. Regular reapplication every one to two years maintains its durability and visual appeal, ensuring your patio remains both stylish and well-protected.
