He looked over our roof, told us what was wrong and what we'd need to do to fix it, and gave us a quote for the work-no charge! We were in the process of listing our home and really wanted to get the work done quickly. We received a quote in the mail a few days later to be signed and returned. Even though our job was a small one, he found a way to get us fit in between larger jobs later that week so that we could list our home on time. He and two others did the repair early on Friday morning, taking about 2-3 hours to get the work completed. They brought the materials with them that morning and cleaned up after themselves. "Jay was incredibly professional, and he did an amazing job. Although the job took longer than he expected, he did things correctly and he took his time to do it right. He made sure I was happy with everything as he was doing it. Another thing I respected was that he was extremely clean when he was working - I never came home to a house that was destroyed; the floors were clean (even before the floors were redone), any tools were put away and not laying around, wherever he had tool boxes or tools, he protected the surface that it was on (be it old flooring or new counters). This Italian-designed, engineered and manufactured awning is assembled and shipped from RetractableAwnings.com Florida plant, so if you need assistance with the install, you should contact a local handyman, carpenter or contractor.? Ours is a Palermo Plus, 16 ft. wide, with an 11 ft.-10 in. projection.? The Internet salesperson, Eric Scop, V.P., really worked with us to understand all the options and get fabric swatches.? We ultimately selected a combination Rain/Sun sensor and Vibration sensor to automatically retract the awning in case of heavy rain or excessive wind.? I spoke with Rocky, their installation expert, for advice on preparing the ledger board to attach the awning to our vinyl sided home, right below the soffit.? His advice was instrumental in making the install go so well.? Further, the awning arrived already programmed to the Soliris transmitter and the motor limit switches were also set.?
