"Eric came in and discussed the problem then set to work. He cleaned out the backed up sewage then worked on cleaning out the line with his power snake. When he couldn't get the snake down further he brought in his camera to do a visual inspection and explained as he went. He got it all flowing though. He also went above and beyond initially by helping locate and access the clean out trap. He was on time, professional, pleasant, answered questions and cleaned up after himself. He charged me the standard sewer cleaning fee even though it took him a bit longer to confirm that the issue was resolved. I was very impressed and happy with the experience."

"The technician opened the access panel in a bedroom closet to access the tub drain. The drain had a drum trap and the cover that had not been opened apparently since 1995 as labeled. It would not come off so he had to pry and chisel the lid off. This was impressive stuff. After snaking the pipe and removing the obstructions, he put on a new rubber drum trap plug / cover / lid. It was $165 for them to come out and a total of $230. The technician also talked with us extensively about all of our other drains--giving us good advice. Note that hair can be dissolved with some liquid / gel / foam products though there are environmental concerns about this. Also, if possible, hair should be kept out of drains with a drain protector hair catcher/strainer/snare. We called Root-o-matic again when the two drains in our basement overflowed and left puddles of sewage and water. After finding the sewer was draining slowly and causing the basement to flood in the evening, we stopped heavy use of the drains (no showers, dishwasher, baths, minimal toilet flushing) and mopped up the water / sewage and then mopped with bleach. We called Root-o-matic at 8:00 am when they open and they came that morning. The sewer line to the street was draining slowly because of some small tree roots that had grow in to it. He used 4" and 6" knives. He was professional and helpful. $265. Many people in this area report having their sewer cleaned once a year to prevent roots from invading. I also plan to install a flood water and overflow alarm / basement watchdog water sensor that beeps loudly (like a smoke alarm) if water comes out of the basement drain so we can catch it as soon as it starts happening in the future. We were very pleased by the responsiveness and professionalism and kindness of Root-o-matic. Total for both jobs: $495."

"My initial call into Midway Sewer was received with a courteous and responsive approach. They told me a repair person would be able to attend to my plumbing issue within the hour. As promised, that happened and Chris, the technician, showed up promptly to offer his skills and expertise. I found him to be professional and competent. He was friendly and polite and was able to unclog the drain with his equipment. His approach was calm and reassuring. In addition, he offered me advice as to how to keep drains unclogged in the future. I truly appreciated Midway Sewer's services. I would recommend them to others and would use them again. Awesome experience! "

"On a Sunday, I was delighted to find a company that was available and charged the same as they would on a weekday. After calling to make the appointment, I was pleased to receive a couple of return calls from DC Annis providing the status of the job and the arrival time. I thought the quoted price for clearing my drain was very reasonable and was really pleased to have the job completed in a timely manner on a Sunday afternoon. The technician was great and professional and the company is a great one to call with drain problems."

"Ryan was able to come out the same day to get my leaking laundry room fixtures back in service and stop the leak into my wall. When he shut off the main line he noticed it had a leak as well so he added that to the work order for me. Ryan gave me an up front price for performing the work. He was efficient and kept me informed. He cleaned up afterwards, tested everything and gave me some suggestions to keep it from occurring again. I definitely would recommend Ryan and Citywide. <br />"

"In April, Diversified Drainage helped correct the grading around the house we were about to sell. They were not the cheapest bid we got (although they weren't THAT much more than the other bids we got), but they were definitely the most responsive of all the companies we contacted, the most professional, and they did a tremendous job. <br /> We were so pleased that when we moved to our new house in a different area of town, we hired them again in July to regrade much of the back yard, and install a drain and drain pipe, thanks to lots of flooding in our basement. (So much for accurate disclosure statements from the previous owners...) Again, they were not the cheapest bid, but they had the best plan of any contractor we contacted, and did tremendous work. They also were able to do the work sooner than anyone else, and came a week before they had originally said they could, which we REALLY appreciated!! Everyone else had a wait time of about 2 months, and we only had to wait 2 weeks! The best part: With all the rain this spring, sod was hard to come by since apparently sod farms in the area were flooded. Diversified Drainage  was the only company to suggest removing our sod, doing the regrading and drainage system installation, then laying back down our old sod. Everyone else said we'd have to re-seed the entire area since sod wasn't available, which we weren't keen on since we have 3 kids and 2 dogs who would have a hard time staying out of that area. The end result looks even better than it did before - the slope is away from the house, there isn't standing water in our lawn any more, so the grass is actually doing much better now. <br /> Later in July, my in-laws were having some water in their basement so I recommended Diversified Drainage to my in-laws. They came out to their house, looked at the situation, and told my in-laws that they didn't need regrading or drainage installation, they needed new gutters! There was no charge for the visit, and my in-laws were impressed that they actually turned down the work because it wasn't necessary. They were able to fix their problem by calling a gutter company instead. We were already impressed by Diversified Drainage's work, now we were impressed by their integrity as well. <br /> They are an outstanding company and I would recommend them very highly to anyone who had drainage issues on their property. They've earned a glowing review from us, 3 times over! <br />"

"A hole was found in my main sewer line during a yearly sewer clean out. I was referred to Ouverson Sewer and Water as a less expensive option than digging up my entire sewer line. Ouverson was able to line my sewer line by digging a minimal hole in my front yard. The job was delayed a couple times due to weather, but once they started it went well. They arrived with a larger team and were very professional throughout the entire process. They covered up the toilets and sinks inside the house to ensure no mess in the house during the repair and cleaned it all up after the job was completed. They were very careful in the front yard with the digging and put the sod back that they removed over the hole they dug. After they completed their work, most people would not be able to even know a hole had been dug in my yard. It was not cheap, but definitely the more cost effective method rather than digging up the entire line. It was worth the price I paid though based on the quality of their work and professionalism that they showed throughout the process."

"Alex let me know ahead that it would be emergency rates and what they were. He was knowledgeable, observant (Made sure it wasn't a floor drain by checking the toilet water level first), and honest. He told me there was a clean out plug he might break and when I asked him how much it was and he said a better version would cost $30 after seeing him try to be gentle with the old one, I figured it'd be cheaper to just break the old one and move on at emergency rates. He hit tree roots at 90 feet and cleared it out. Alex was a very pleasant guy, cleaned off the tires of the drain auger before he brought it down stairs, and did the job efficiently."

"I came home and found my basement flooded. I used over 10 bath towels trying to mop it up, and couldn't handle it myself. Injured hand, sick kid, no groceries. Ugh. SMH. <br /> Hani came at 4:30 pm on a Friday afternoon and saved me from a stressful stinky weekend. Turns out my tampons had clogged the drain. !! Gross for both of us to learn that. But Hani was polite, appropriate and understanding. And I know I saved at least $70 compared to the other guys, or the people who wanted to consider a Friday at 4 pm "emergency services." <br /> I have recommended Hani to my neighbors and they were pleased with his work too. <br /> I know I am getting a great deal and great service with Hani. <br />"

"I've used Richfield Plumbing on one previous occurance a year or so previously and was very happy with the experience.  I had a trap and adjoining pipes in my basement ceiling which came from my bathtub to my primary sewer drain pipe.  It was rusted and the adjoining pipes were of different metals and I just didn't want to deal with making 3 or 4 trips to the store to get needed parts.  The items were also somewhat difficult to reach behind other nearby plumbing.  Part of the purpose of this repair was due to deterioration of the trap and pipes, and a very slow drain speed which we had been living with for a very long time.  It was just finally time to simply get it done. <br /> As with my previous experience, I contact Richfield Plumbing via email and conducted all correspondance with them on both occasions via email.  Pam at their office was my "correspondant" and she was always on top of eveything via email.   My wife was home on both occasions and assisted the contractor with access in the house, etc.  <br /> The plumbing items were replaced and the slow drain was determined to be a buildup of debris (common) which required the service of another person not employed by Richfield Plumbing but someone they used unless the homeowner had another preference.  That person was able to come the following morning and he used his snake down the tub drain and in toward the main sewer pipe and was able to open things up and we now have the best bathwater drainage flow we've had in several years. <br /> I've been satisfied with Richfield Plumbing on both occasions.  They're communicative and do great work, and the plumber here at the house was very personable and honest in his work.  I would certainly consider Richfield Plumbing in the future for any needs. <br />"
