"Mike and all of his crew at Forever Green tree service are beyond amazing! They are professional, prompt, hard working, and very friendly. I have never seen or heard of a machine that can actually go over a house to cut down the trees in the back yard. I watched this amazing show from beginning to end. This hydraulic claw which looks a little like the claws in an arcade is moved over the house by Mike the owner. He has the controls in his hands. The claw grabs part of the tree and once in it's grip saws it off. Then Mike slowly brings that large part of the tree over the house and lays it in the yard. From there the shredder came, as Mike was cutting two other guys were shredding. These guys work in unison, everyone knows what to do and how to do it. This company is highly recommended !!! All the photos I took are too large for Angi's list except this one."

"We needed 4 very large trees on our property removed. Julio was extremely accommodating, as we were late getting back to our house for the estimate meeting. He was very knowledgeable, and was very detailed in his estimate. The pricing was also extremely competitive. We only ended up having two of the trees dropped, but the work was impeccable. Julio and his team were punctual, extremely well prepared and very professional. Both trees, stumps and all of the wood were removed in one day, and the cleanup was excellent. "I have been looking for someone to do this kind of work for a while since it doesn't make sense for me to own and maintain my own log splitter and manual splitting is not feasible.  I burn wood, and have large trees taken down from time to time (as do many of my neighbors). It makes no sense to pay to have felled trees hauled away, and then to buy firewood. 
I emailed Trevor with pics and a volume estimate of the wood I needed processed. He responded promptly with an estimate, his conditions, and a date. I accepted, and, without further ado, Trevor and assistant showed up at the agreed upon time. He quickly understood what I needed done and proceeded with the work efficiently, without any need for further discussion or direction. I was able to completely concentrate on some other work that I had to do.
A second work day (completed last week) went equally smoothly. A good plan, well-executed, at a fair price is how I summarized it.
As small, smart, local, niche businesses like this one succeed, we will begin to reclaim an economy that works for all of us, IMO.

"I hired C&Y to remove poison ivy from a tree on my front lawn. My technician was thoughtful to remove all the poison ivy at the root and trim the vines from the tree that extended up the trunk and into the branches. He explained everything and did not use herbicides due to the fragile state of my tree ;’which would have killed it. So... to sum it up,
Eddy was the most knowledgable person we have spoken to about trees.
The quote for trimming the remaining trees in the yard was extremely
cheap.  He was so helpful not only on the
trees we called about, but on recommendations for the future as well!
Now here's the down and dirty...
A certified Aroborist came out for a free estimate to check out our yard.
 He was on time and very nice.  We called to have him look at our
redwoods which haven't been looking so great recently, but he started in
the front yard and gave us some free advice on our trees out there as
well as the backyard.
When we went to the backyardto look at our
redwoods, he said they look healthy and are starting to come back to
life... basically, we don't need his services!!  (Another guy who was
not certified said he would trim it for $600!!!).  Eddy from Double Tree
service (not the other guy) said to leave the remaining 6 trees
alone this season and call him in 6-10 months to come back for a
trimming.
He was SO knowledgable.  Immediately he asked when
we had the patio slate put in, and attributed that to the health of our
trees (apparently the roots had been dug out and the dirt in the back
suffocated the roots on the far side?!  Who knew?).  But he recommended
that we wait to see how the tree responds before trimming it.
The rough estimated quote for trimming all the trees and possibly removing
one (that would eventually damage the slate and brick wall) was
EXTREMELY reasonable.
Bottom line... THEY ARE THE BEST!!!  Definitely hire these guys above anyone else... your wallet and yard will thank you for it.

"Large oak tree removed, stump grinded and other trimming looks good. I was told they would use plywood on the lawn to prevent ruts. End result, no plywood and major ruts. Lawn is a mess. Owner came for payment and said he would send someone out to address the lawn as well as debris cleanup that they left in the street. So I paid him for the job. I have not heard from him since. Took the money and ran. Would not recommend."
