I did my homework before I went with Luigi.  He wasn't the most expensive nor was he the cheapest. 
His price was fair and he did the right thing.  He didn't try to take shortcuts or shortchange me.  I've seen my fair share of shady contractors in the past.

Luigi was there every step of the way.
He was courteous, professional and he took care of the work with pride.  It has been over 4.5 months since his work is completed.  My DOT violation has been dismissed and my concrete looks great.

I'm really happy that I chose him and will definitely look forward to hiring him for future concrete/masonry services.

"My regular mason retired and I hate finding a new contractor. I took a shot and called Long Island Mason and Concrete. The owner arrived within an hour, we looked the job over. Large shed I'm replacing and I wanted a slab. He then offered to do the shed demo and haul it all away. The total quote was very resonable so I said, "do it". He asked when I wanted it done and I said ASAP. I got a call a day later telling me they would be here tomorrow. Great crew arrived at 8:00, demoed the shed, hauled it away, cleaned and leveled the area, installed the forms and poured. They were done and gone by noon. I now have a new Mason and I'm thrilled to use them again for upcoming projects in my family."

"we wanted a simple concrete patio installed in place of a deck. contacted other contractors only one to reply promptly. Joseph was great... very knowledgeable and never tried to up sell anything to us. he made suggestions but left the final decision to us. didnt know about the construction season and how jobs are booked months in advance however he was able to find a spot for us to get the job done sooner rather than later. "Do not hesitate to hire Tony!!! We hired Tony and his crew to redo my driveway and are so pleased with the results. The job required to double the driveway, open the apron up and remove trees. Tony was able to do everything flawlessly. He even got the permit for the apron so everything was done by the books and properly. He was easy to communicate with and listened to what we wanted. "Martinez Brick came the following day to inspect my “3 sidewalk squares” for replacement. He told me the 4th one should also be replaced, as it was elevated. He gave me a price for 4 squares that was less than a competitors price for 3. Then he said that he would cut $400 off if I could do it “this Saturday”, a date at his convenience because he had a job close by. I said “great!” It rained Saturday and he couldn’t pour cement in the rain. He said “I’ll be there Tuesday”, and I’m honoring the discounted price. Okay. Monday night he called and said he will come Wednesday for sure because he doesn’t want his workers pouring cement in 98 degree heat! I like a boss who cares about his employees. He came on Wednesday and did a PERFECT job!"
