"We used them in spring right before summer began. We have a 1904 house and it had funky 1904 storm window-type basement windows. They took all those out. They had to reframe in some places. We also had the basement block windows put in with the vents. At times they had to take away a beam in the middle because it was the wrong size. "Scott was prompt with his estimate and worked around our schedule to install. The window we had replaced was very close to our property line and our neighbors driveway. Scott and team were able to use the driveway for their machines and simply rolled back our fence for access. They removed one bush while they were digging and replaced it just as they found it. Other bids we received said we'd need to rip out trees in our front yard or put the egress on the front of the house - which we weren't willing to do. We opted for the additional wood finishing ($275) and are pleased with the look of the window. They cleaned up nicely after themselves and we are happy with the work. The only downside to the process is the window took 5 weeks to stock so we had to wait for the installation. We did have the option of purchasing a window ourselves to shorten the wait, but we chose not to."
