"I could not be happier with the final product! The first pic is the old bathroom from the 60s when the house was built. The rest are the final rebuild and it looks great. I would highly recommend VMK Remodeling for any project that you might have. I am also going to get a bid on redoing the deck on the back of the house as Vince's company does decks as well! Thanks to his great crew as well, great people to work with."

"THANK YOU to the two men who replaced my fence six posts and a section of pickets yesterday. They worked well together. They listened to me before and after their work. They worked steadfastly through the morning. Much appreciated here. If I were their employer, I would keep these men."

"

I contacted HMR and asked that they provide me with an estimate to remove my existing chain-link fence and install a six foot vinyl privacy fence.  They showed up the same day and gave me, what I considered to be, a very reasonable price to perform the work and provide all the materials. (Much lower than the others)  So I chose HMR.

They scheduled me for the following Saturday.  They arrived at 7 a.m. as scheduled and were finished that afternoon.  I was very impressed with their knowledge and willingness to clean everything up afterwards.  If you're considering a new fence, I would definitely recommend these guys!

"All team members were professional and courteous. They cleaned up after each day's work. The job consisted of tearing out 4 old layers of flooring, installing board to level the floors out and installing vinyl tiles that look like a marble floor. Would definitely rehire and plan to next spring for a bathroom remodel job."

"All good.  Added window locks on upper floors (sash windows, young kids) and repaired/replaced some original locks in doors to make them work properly.
We've used them for all kinds of things over the last 3 years - pretty much do whatever we've needed done.

"He came to my house, but never actually delivered the design. He asked for 2-3 wks. I gave him about 4 wks. I tried to contact him to follow up, but I did not hear from him. I have received a refund from Angie's List. He told me they were doing (maybe paving?) when we first met, and he's trying to do landscape design? It was only $39. When I first contacted the rating was A, and it was B when I last looked. Maybe it's a case of trying to do too much, or needing to narrow the scope of work. You can know/do a little about everything, or something about a little....not both."

"Matt Conyers arrived on 10/5/2010 as scheduled to inspect & provide a quote. My deck is 16-feet-square and 12 feet above the ground, and its support beam pair was rotting due to poor original construction 10 years ago by another independent contractor. Matt said he had done a dozen of these types of repairs recently, where the support beam was clad in decorative vinyl, trapping water and rotting the beam. Matt warned it might take six weeks to complete the work due to his backlog of projects, but his team would come out to temporarily support the deck within three business days after acceptance of his quote. Matt proposed adding new posts near the house to provide more support under the ledger board, which had cracked slightly due to the weight of the deck sinking forward onto the rotting support beam. I concurred, wanting to make the deck as safe as possible for a very long time. Matt said he'd email me a detailed quote that evening, and he did. I had requested bids from two other contractors, only one of which showed up. That company sent a sales rep who had to call a Production Manager to describe the site and get an estimate via cell phone. That company committed to start & complete the work within a week of acceptance. While that sales rep was professional, and their sales brochure was slick, Matt made me more comfortable because he had obviously done such repairs himself, and would actually do this work with his laborers. Matt's quote was very close to the other company's quote, so despite the potential long wait, I went with Matt Conyers. Reasons were: Matt was hands-on with direct experience repairing this specific problem, Matt recommended a long-term, safer solution, Matt would shore up the deck relatively quickly to prevent potential deck collapse until he could complete the work, and I was OK with staying off the deck for up to six more weeks since summer was practically over, anyway. On 10/11, Matt came to my house and accepted my check for 40% down. On 10/13, Matt & his laborers shored up the deck, removed the rotted support beam, removed all of the decorative vinyl from underneath, (which I never wanted to see again so I can more easily inspect the support lumber in the future), and dug three new holes near the house for the new posts. They did not disturb the nearby sprinkler line, which Matt said he would repair at no additional charge if they broke the line. They left the grounds clean and free of debris, piling lumber still-to-be-used neatly onto the nearby concrete patio until work could resume. On 10/21, one week and one day after starting, Matt called my cell at 5PM and said they finished repairs. He asked to come by the house at 7:30PM to collect the remainder, which worked with my schedule. I got home at 6PM and inspected the work. They left the grounds clean and free of debris. I pushed h****** each of the six posts, and nothing budged. I walked about the deck surface and it was comfortably firm and more structurally sound than I ever remembered. Matt arrived as scheduled at 7:30PM & accepted my check for the remainder of the original estimate. There were no surprise additional charges. I will recommend Conyers Construction to my friends & co-workers, and consider Matt for any future deck expansion projects. I don't expect to need his services for future repair of the existing deck as it is very sturdy and structurally sound, now."

"Curtis called me back right away and had come for an estimate before any other company had even called me back. He was very good about communicating with me and had the work completed within one week of my call. We haven't had a huge rain since the repair work was done, but all looks good and I'm confident that the leak is patched. He also did not leave a mess at my house, which is huge in my book :) Would definitely hire again."

FAQs for vinyl or pvc fence repair projects in Farmington, MO

Repairing or replacing a part of your fence is almost always less expensive than replacing it altogether. If your fence is in major disrepair or requires more than 20% to 30% replacement, it may be a better investment to replace your entire fence. Contact at least three fence repair specialists near you to get quotes for both a repair and replacement project.

All vinyl fences are made of PVC, a type of vinyl that stands for polyvinyl chloride. But not all PVC is the same. PVC resin is combined with other ingredients, giving it strength and weather-resistance. High-quality PVC vinyl fences include additives that provide more durability—and therefore cost more. Check out various types of vinyl fences and their features before deciding on your material.

You can repair small cracks or holes in your vinyl fence easily using a vinyl repair kit. If the crack is especially large or seems to be impacting the fence's integrity, you may need to replace the whole rail or post. However, you should hire a local fence installer for major repairs.

With proper maintenance and care, a vinyl fence can last up to 30 years. To ensure the longest life possible for your vinyl fence, ensure that it is installed properly and take care to check it regularly for any areas that may need minor maintenance or repair.
