"Jim Adam and his son James did a major bathroom remodel for me. They expanded my shower from a 31" square shower to a 32" x 60" shower. To do this they had to tear out a couple of walls and moved plumbing. They did a lot of tile work which turned out great. We also replaced the vanity, toilet and a new linen closet. They put wainscotting up all around the walls and painted the upper walls and all of the woodwork. Every step of the way, they made sure that I was happy with the quality of the work and on a couple of occasions adjusted it slightly. Jim is very conscientious about all of the small details and added some things like crown molding and trim to make it look even more professional. He also took my door off and shaved it slightly so it wouldn't stick. He built fillers to make my linen cabinet look built in. He is very collaborative, and together we came up with part of the design. His rates are reasonable and he is very conscious about how the materials cost, and he will save wherever he can as long as it doesn't affect the quality. Jim is very honest and trustworthy. I left them alone in the house on many occasions. (It was a 13 day job.) Both he and James were very professional and cleaned up every night before they left. They did there best to protect the rest of the house from getting dirty. They were always in a good mood and easy to talk to. In short they took my small, outdated, somewhat ugly bathroom and brought it into the 21st century. It is now way more functional, quite handsome, easy to take care of--and still small. I love it. I am totally happy with the job, and they are my go-to team for any additional remodeling that I do. I totally recommend them for bathroom remodeling."

"Overall, Mark (owner of Nail & Pails) was extremely professional and personable, and our counter top looks beautiful. Mark returned our phone call in a timely manner and was very prompt in responding to our inquiry, scheduling a visit within the week. He came to see us for a consultation to determine if the job was within the scope of his ability, which it was, and we discussed the specific details of our situation (extending counter top, not having a beveled edge, L corner, floating installation). We purchased our counter top from another retail store and Mark worked around the arrival schedule as we waited for it to come in. He also quoted us a specific price and a specific amount of time to complete the job. As far as the actual work goes, Mark was extremely detailed oriented and he took special precaution when combining the two counter tops at the corner. Rather than just gluing at the corner, he created a system to combine them underneath to create a tight joint, and used glue as a secondary support. This is just one example of how he went above and beyond expectations to provide us with a better service. Though Mark worked diligently, it took him a few extra hours to complete the job. He honored his original price despite working extra hours and was very thorough with the clean up afterward; he even volunteered to take away some of the extra old counter top! We did have some unforeseen house issues arise throughout the installation, and Mark had solutions to each one, but he also informed us of approximate prices while he was fixing the problems so we were not taken by surprise when our total was slightly higher than the quoted price. Throughout the process, Mark offered solutions to other kitchen remodeling questions (cabinet wall space, tile backsplash, etc.) and he volunteered to help us with other projects if we needed help. At the end of this process, we have a beautifully installed counter top that has held up well over time. Additionally, Mark was easy to talk to and very pleasant. I would absolutely recommend Nails & Pails for other handyman projects to both family and friends, and I will likely be using his services again in the future!"

"I was in a serious bind for time. My house has only 1 bathroom. Due to pre existing water damage I was forced to do a total rebuild of the bathroom. Once the framing was done and insulation hung I figured it would be the best investment of time and money to have a professional come and hang and finish the drywall. I called three contractors. Joe Burkhart of All Around Home Improvement returned my call within minutes. He stopped after his normal business hours to look at the job. He pointed out several things I had not considered to make the project look better and have a cleaner look. He came as promised when promised. He paid special attention to all of our dogs and cats. (A big plus). He made a few areas square that were not he also re-hung insulation I had hung incorrectly while explaining every step and why it was necessary. At the end of the job he walked my wife and I thru and made sure we were 100% happy with his work. He offered his painting crews services as well. He also took the time so show us some of the beautiful high-end work he was currently doing. We were so pleased with his work and ethics we had him quote a second job we will have him do in the fall / winter. Our neighbors have recently used All Around Home Improvements with the same praise. I am of the old school. If someone does not communicate or deliver as promised I will not ever mention them to a friend or neighbor.
