The only complaint I had was that I was new to home ownership and remodeling and I wish they had sat down with me and told me line by line - you have to do this, pick this out, go buy this, etc... instead I felt rushed with my decisions b/c they had started to work and I hadn't picked certain things out (like a shower drain cover or something like that). I also wished they had someone that worked a little more on the interior design side along with the space planning. At any rate, all of the contractors they worked with were great, clean, efficient and prompt. I would recommend them to anyone. And their showroom is beautiful as well!"

"Vicki Ruff has a lot of experience with colors and her suggestions worked out very well for us, including Spanish Olive for the master bedroom, a golden mustard color for the foyer and hall, and Floral White for the trim. Working with an interior designer is a new experience for me and rather intimidating. I wasn't offended by any comments she had about my choice of furnishings, as I understand she is simply instructing me on what she'd do to improve a room. A designer like Vicki is invaluable for her ability to visualize how things will look (something I'm terrible at). Of course, I could choose to follow her suggestions or not. I thought a dramatic cider color for the dining room would be too dark, but it does help to have advice that's different from my usual pattern of thinking. I'm calling her again for advice on colors for two rooms that weren't painted, plus lamp selections, a new couch and a different arrangement for the living room. <br />"

"This is an upgraded review after an initial 2-star grading. Responsive customer service to issues with the purchase itself made all the difference and allowed me to keep an open mind as I continued into the installation process. Overall, other than a few "they could do this better" items, the quality, the accuracy, the value, the helpful support team, and the easy installation of my 7 motorized solar shades all point to 5 stars. We followed the measuring instructions carefully and received shades that fit each space exactly as I expected. Installation itself was easier than traditional shades using the solid brackets they provided. Questions I had during installation were answered promptly through Chat. The remote control was a bit of a challenge, so be patient if you bought a multi-channel one and have lots of shades in your room. And for some reason they don't tell you this, but you must have a remote for your motorized shades. The app alone isn't enough. Our only minor gripe is that determining how solar shades look at night was just a game of inference. It would be very helpful to have an online tool available to create your own scene, which includes shade color, indoor or outdoor, and time of day. Even samples don't help much more. Still, I'll return to them when it's time to take care of other rooms. We did this project for 2 to 3 thousand dollars less than big box store quoted us. It was a cinch."

"Frank Page is hands down the best painter in town. He painted our old house several years ago and it turned out great. Unfortunately, his prices have gone up considerably in the past 8 yrs and we can't afford to hire him again. He is a lot more expensive than other painters. If you can afford him, go for it! You won't be disappointed in his quality of work. <br /> Though I feel compelled to say that I feel the cost went because we moved on to a more wealthy street in town. My old house was in similar shape and had less surface area to paint. The prices always seem to go up as soon as any contractor drives on to the street... <br />"
