They wire brushed the chimney and applied a sealant on the whole chimney. Since I did not obtain any other bids for this work, I have no idea how good or bad the price is, thus the B grade for price. They have done prior work for me and have cleaned my chimney for years so I trust them. Workers were friendly and polite and cleaned everything up when they were done."

While here he noticed that the ridge vent that they installed in 2008 was an older style that could possibly let in rain if it was blowing real hard. His crew was out the next day and they replaced the entire ridge vent over 4 hours with snow on my roof. The leak repair, attic inspection and ridge vent replacement was all done at no cost to me even though the 10 year warranty expired over a year ago. Now that's what I call customer service! "We had a heavy downpour in our area (Clearview) about a month ago and observed internal evidence of a small leak which we suspected was coming from a Roof Vent. North Creek Roofing came out, looked over our whole roof (asphalt shingle, low slope) and agreed with our assessment. We had a bid the same day, and two days later we had a 2-man crew on the job. "We first met Mark at B&B about 10 years ago, when we bought our house and found a branch sticking up from the torch down roofing (we have a low slope roof, so torch down). We figured we needed a new roof b/c it was at least 10 years and, but when he came out he told us we had a few more good years left if we patched and coated it. Then he taught me how to patch the hole, left me with some material for any other holes, and was on his way. In the intervening years, almost every other roofer we talked to said we needed a new roof right away. When we finally replaced it, B&B did a great job and was right in the middle of the pack in terms of cost (I wouldn't recommend going with the lowest bid on a roof!). When he arrived he explained why that would be a waste of money because the design of the chimney was the problem. Instead Chris suggested we do a few things to extend the life of our chimney for another 5-10 years (with detailed instructions so we could do the work) and replace the full chimney after that with a design that fits or Northwest climate. We will definitely be calling Chris for any work in the future!"
