"French drain installation along a retaining wall (75 yards). Thomas who handled the sales end of things was friendly and responsive. The crew showed up on time. They were hard working and receptive of customer feedback. They first removed the ivy that was obstructing the work area and then completed the trench on day 1 which uncovered some of the unwelcome water sources. A legacy footing drain was plumbed directly into the main french drain pipe. Perpherated pipe was dropped in on Day 2 followed by river rock, catch basins, and 3 ft dry well installation. Cleanup was done thoroughly. I would hire them again in a heartbeat."

They built a beautiful brick retaining wall and installed pavers for a new gardening area that included a column for a coach light — the craftsmanship & attention to detail are excellent. They also repaired and enhanced our front entry by adding brickwork to the front step and sidewalk (on the side of the house), which not only covered existing cracks in the exposed aggregate but also gave the entire entryway a refreshed, high-end look. In addition, their team installed a new drainage line near our sport court, complete with a small retaining wall, a drop basin for water runoff, and drain rock at the end of the court. "I chose Gravity Builders out of 12 other bidders from Angi-Home advisor after weighing in pros and cons and found them to be the best in price, quality, timeline, and authenticity to complete my patio project. Vince was very honest and transparent, and he showed me his license and insurance which many other contractors were hesitant. I had a major concrete damage in my backyard done by another contractor which was a flood risk to my home and Vince from Gravity Builders came in and transformed my nightmare backyard into a beautiful haven-From ugly duckling into a beautiful swan. In addition, Vince shared pictures of his previous jobs that helped build a bench wall around my tree which looks spectacular and neat. Tino and Frankie who also assisted Vince in this project were very respective and wonderful picking up all the mess after them each day and storing it neatly in a different spot. They also pressure washed off the rest of the patio pavers which had stubborn concrete stains left by the previous awful concrete workers and washed my building making it look brand new. In addition, Vince pointed out the clean out pipe covered under the concrete before Gravity project took on my project which would have been a disaster if anything were to be clogged in the plumbing pipes. Vince communicated with me regularly to give me updates in the works or walk through to see if everything was coming along according to my expectations and wanted to be sure I was Happy. Gravity Builders went above and beyond, and I will recommend them over any other builder-contractors out there. "I have to say that the Island Concrete crew are incredibly hard workers. They arrive, they go to work and they work exceptionally well as a team. They all jump in and do what needs to be done and, if need be, call in extra workers who do the same. I was extremely impressed with their work ethic and the work that they did for me. They excavated and disposed of my old driveway, walkway and patio. They poured a much larger driveway and patio, with the walkway staying the same size. The driveway was brushed and the patio was stamped. In addition, they removed, disposed of and rebuilt, using landscaping cement blocks, two retaining walls I had and built two other smaller retaining walls elsewhere in my yard. It was quite the project! They were professional, friendly, patient with me and my questions and cleaned up every day before leaving.
