"CALL HIM - you'll hire him. Joe is a total pro and does excellent work! He communicates well, is dependable, sticks to his estimate, and goes the extra mile to do the job right. Truly a unique talent these days - an honest, nice guy who shows up and does great work - and can do anything! He and Mike are easy to have around our home and clean up each day. Our subfloor under carpet was insufficient for new hardwood floors. They removed huge amount of subfloor and also demo'd entry tile on cement board. Then installed a lot of new subfloor on multiple levels. He met with our hardwood installer to ensure everything was right and went above and beyond to tighten subfloor to joists so it's solid and squeak-free in an older house. The new hardwood was the perfect height after Joe's planning for subfloor height - he makes it look easy. They also shaved curly-ques from an old wrought iron railing, painted and replaced it; even finding a way to break the weld at the bottom to turn the feet to accommodate new flooring. Hand railing wasn't secured inside wall so he framed support and patched drywall. He's creative and capable, saving us a ton by modifying our existing railings to look newer and more on trend. I'm on his waiting list to have more done and he's worth the wait during his busy season!"

"Built to Last Construction was recommended to me by a friend who had them remodel her kitchen. First I hired them to paint a steep stairway to the upstairs, along with the upstairs landing (built their own scaffolding) and install railings. Their work was very professional and I can't belief how good it looks! Next I had them completely remodeled the bathroom in coordination with a plumber and electrician. Tom and his wife Ann went shopping with me for bathroom fixtures but because the bathroom is so small nothing seemed like it was going to work out. Tom actually ended up building a linen cabinet, sink base and medicine cabinet with a lighted mirror to fit. The quality of the wood and workmanship is outstanding! I am also hiring them for other projects. They are always very thorough and kept me informed on all aspects of the projects. I recommended them to a friend who has had a hard time finding someone to update her deck. She will not be disappointed."

"I would like to say Thank You to Mike (from DMR Handyman Services LLC). My neighbor referred Mike to me because he had done some work for her & she had nothing but good things to say about his work. I texted Mike a few months later & requested a quote. Mike came over & took a look at the work that I wanted to have him to give me a quote/estimate on. "The 2014 shed job needed a call back immediately as door was gaping and not closing tightly. They were prompt in their response. Only one coat of paint was applied to the new wood, not adequate in my opinion, but I didn't complain at the time. Now, four years later, the plywood is pulling away from the beams because long staple type fasteners were used rather than wood screws. The second job, done in 2016, was unsatisfactory from the start. The work included installation of new door and installation of brick molding and flashing on leaking door. Painting, patching and caulking of both doors was included in the price. The door that was leaking leaked even worse after being repaired and only one coat of paint was applied over holes; no patching was done. Some areas were left completely unpainted. I called and someone came out to do another repair. He said that more work had been done than was necessary and a simple caulking was done. Leaking problem was solved. He also said that someone would call about fixing the poor paint job, but nobody ever did."
