It's expensive but Scott Roofing was below the other quote and I did not have to do anything as they handled it all. Very professional. Lead times are a bit long but that is the nature of this work. On the day of the job an army of men showed up and got on it very fast. They almost got a two day job done in a day and were cleaning up after dark. All very impressive and worth the money. The roof looks better than the rest of the house now."

Raul of RC roofing was the only one who could get the job done in a timely fashion, in fact one of the bidders never even came back with a proposed time of completion.. Raul called me 4 days ahead of the start date for my project to let me know when his crew would begin work. They were here at the exact time he said. They unbelievably (to me) completed the project in 2&1/2 days, including some custom work I had requested, and even repaired a roof swamp cooler base that showed some serious degradation. "Burke Roofing was good about answering their phone and coming out quickly to provide an estimate of work. Several other companies were not available in as timely a manner or would not even answer their phones. I was in the process of selling the house, so the quick repair was required to close the sale. Jerry quoted $575 for some minor roof repairs (reposition a couple of concrete tiles that had slid down, glue cracks, and replace a corner piece), matching 2 other roofing companies quotes. He also planned to reseal and paint exposed flashing and complex intersections. None of the companies actually climbed up on the roof, nor used a drone to survey the roof. The 3-man crew came out within a couple of days, earlier than scheduled. The foreman, Julio, told me his crew would be on the roof 60 to 90 minutes but only worked for a total of about 20 minutes.
