I own and operate a family business. What you see and who you meet and hire is who will be doing the work. I work myself with my son and my wife and 1 loyal guy I've had since day 1. I've been in this line of work for 25 years doing projects of every type specializing in cabinets, trim and higher end work, meticulate jobs and also exterior work. I do all types of finish carpentry, trim d, doors , wi dows , wall repairs and many other tasks. I am considered the very top of the line among all the painting community in the area. Very professional, accommodating and extremely neat and clean. Countless referrals and pics. I've been busy the past few years without advertising or taking g on new work just from repeat customers, regular yearly scheduled work, word of mouth and the couple builders I work for but lately the travel is getting too much for me as the builders are starting to get farther away so im currently taking on new work\n.

"We purchased this service as an Angie's List deal to pressure wash our home, primarily the front of the house which never gets direct sunlight and was quite mildewy.  We also have two window bump outs with metal roofing that needed to be cleaned.  Pristine was able to accommodate our request for scheduling, and on the day of the service sent us an Angie's List message that they would arrive around noon.  They were a little bit later than expected (around 1pm) but I was home that day so it wasn't too big a problem.  One thing that surprised us was that they didn't bring stepladders, so they were unable to get the roofs of the bump outs completely clean.  They look a lot better, and the workers tried three rounds of washing from the ground, but there are still visible mildew stains.  Considering that they really only had to clean one side of the house, and they knew it was two stories, I wish they had brought a ladder so that they could reach the tops of the bump outs and scrub them clean.  The siding on the front of the house came out much better.  However, they used detergent and did not rinse our windows clean, so they are all cloudy and streaked and I now I have an extra job of cleaning them.  Also, they left detergent pooled on our sidewalk, so we had to come after them and rinse that clean.  I am sure around this time of year they are very busy with pressure washing, and due to the discounted deal they may have rushed through our job.  For the price I felt like the service we got was okay, but again, would have liked them being able to go the extra mile and get the front of our house completely clean, and clean up after themselves.  A few years ago we used another provider who power-washed and also painted our shutters for $279, and they used ladders and made our house look brand new.  Although at first the $149 price seemed like a good deal, but I don't know that we got particularly good value for it.  I'd probably pay a bit extra and get a better quality service in the future."

The workers showed up on time and completed the job in a timely fashion.They cleared and took away all debris from the old gutters and leaders.Several suggestions were made to make sure the gutters worked properly.It took about 4 hours and the job looked great.Martin, one of the owners, came by to look at the completed job, and to be sure all that I wanted was done to my liking, which it was.I would recommend this company to anyone wanting a great job.

"Charles and another man arrived two hours late--they never called me, rather I called them twice that morning to find out where they were. The first time, they said they were on their way and would be at my house in 15 minutes. They didn't arrive for another 1.5 hrs. When they arrived, they said they were on their way when they went back to their business and get rain coats. This was the morning before Hurricane Irene was to hit Connecticut and it was raining on and off. At the time, I was relieved that I was having the work done before the storm was to hit, since I knew the gutters desperately needed to be cleaned out. As it turned out, I'm not sure it mattered much, because of the quality of their work.

They did clean out my gutters, but not my downspouts. Basically, they dragged my hose up on the roof (a 2 story house) and flushed the gutters...into the downspouts, where else? I believe they did have to manually do some of the clean out and I have Waterfall vinyl gutter guards on my gutters that they had to deal with and which Charles complained about. I haven't had the gutters cleaned in several years and I knew that birds had dislodged the covers and nested in several place. After the guys left, I found one gutter bracket on the ground in the backyard (I can't see where it came from), and in another spot, I can see a cover connector clip (connecting two length of gutter cover) wasn't reattached to the gutter.

After Irene hit, I was inspecting around my yard and found that a large shrub next to the house was starting to pull out of the ground. That's when I found that the downspout at that corner of the house was packed with about a foot of debris. This wasn't from the storm, this was from them cleaning the gutters but not bothering with the downspouts. I couldn't believe it. Where did they think all that debris was going? They didn't even check the downspouts. It took me about 15 minutes with several make-shift tools (finally a bent wire-hanger worked best) to get it all out. I think the packed downspout contributed to the damage to the shrub (it'll live) because the ground there next to the downspout spot got so saturated.

I can't recommend them. When someone works on your house, you want to them to treat it like it's their own, like they care. I have to say I was very disappointed at how it went, since they had such good grades in Angie's List.
