"After two cancellations without notice in the same day and a failed callback on the attempted third try, I cancelled. Hoping to find someone not too busy to do the promised work at the promised time."

"I gave an overall F rating because of the outrageous cost of a 40 minute service call even though the worker and the work were excellent. Service guy came on schedule for bottom freezer of frig that was leaking.. He was extremely knowledgeable and businesslike. After taking out ice maker, sliding freezer door and back panels in freezer box in order to get to the cooling coils, he diagnosed the problem as a clogged drain. At that point he gave an estimate of $406 for the repair. Assuming the repair would be complicated and time consuming, and already having committed to a $95 service call expense, I reluctantly gave the ok to do the repair. To my shock and surprise, the fix was completed in about 30 minutes. The service guy was clearly embarrassed about the cost and explained that the charge was dictated by the job code--plugged drain--and he could do nothing to reduce the charge. He did suggest that a 20% discount coupon was often available on line and suggested I download one. I tried to do so but the discount coupon was no longer being offered. He checked on this and confirmed that it looked like the promotion was not available. I think his embarrassment caused him to spend about an additional ten minutes to adjust the upper refrigerator door which did not close tight due to sagging. The fix was adding a shim washer to the hinge pin that probably cost 10 cents. All in all: a 40 minute visit; 10 cents in parts for $406, or a $600 per hour rate. Was an outrageous ripoff. We will never again do business with Sears for any work. As a comparison, my local, top flight, car maintenance and repair shop charges at $95 per hour. I am also complaining to the Better Business Bureau."

"Buyer Beware! Owner came to house and sold us. We explained we need HOA approval before we can move forward, So don’t do anything. His short term memory doesn’t remember that conversation. We even have a witness. He deposits our check. HOA does not approve the screen and we want our deposit back. He says too late, he already made the screen, which we told him don’t do. Too bad he says , I already made the screen and put you in the line for installation. We gave him $1000 deposit. (nowhere does it say nonrefundable) He says I’ll give you half back when he clearly is at fault DON’T DO BUSINESS WITH LONNIE AT COOL BREEZE."

If Lionel recommend checking for termites and basil send you someone get the report insist on seeing it before your closing!!! Theses are brand new showers ! water leaking under the sink and they put a T-shirt under after 3 months 3 weeks don’t take any advice from basil. His intention I think is good buy at the end of the day I’m paying for a service not empty words and unprofessional work ! He’s a smooth talker that will cost you stress and more money in the end !"
