The two technicians were very careful during the cleaning, taking extra care to keep our new carpet from getting dirty. In the end, the fireplace was clean & tidy and the inspection of the flu/chimney/cap showed that everything was in good working order. They were also very attentive to answering our questions and making recommendations as to the type of grate we needed to replace our old one. He also helped me find a new roofer when my guy didn't respond. Work was done correctly and on time. They were also very careful with the new roof and cleaned up well. "Butch and his office staff are very friendly but I was disappointed with the quality of the work. This was a very small job, maybe 8-12 tiles slipping down the roof leaving gaps in coverage and 2-3 missing tiles that needed to be replaced. The job took three visits to complete. After the first visit I complained that there were still a couple tiles out of place leaving gaps in the roof coverage and there was still a missing tile that had not been replaced. On the second visit they replaced the missing tile with a spare tile I left for them but did not fix the gaps from the tiles that were still out of place. <br /> <br /> On the third visit I was home and talked with Butch. Butch indicated that the tiles were just placed on the roof and were not fastened down so they would probably slip down again in another 2-3 years. For $500 I was expecting a more permanent solution than just kicking the tiles back into place! To Butch's credit he got some caulking and secured the tiles on the third visit."

"Wolff Mechanical was very professional. The team arrived on time an did an excellent job removing the old A/C unit, installing and testing the new A/C unit and getting the remote sensor and thermostat connected to my WiFi. I had noticed a big difference in room temperature in various rooms with my old A/C unit. Wolff Mechanical was great at working with me to find solutions to the problems with my existing duct work. All the rooms serviced by my south A/C unit consistently held the same temperature after they were done. Wolff Mechanical came back the next day to pull apart and re-install my north A/C unit. A previous contractor had installed the north A/C unit in correctly and it needed to be pulled out and re-installed. Wolff Mechanical did a good job on the re-installation.A couple months later I asked Wolff Mechanical to come out and do major renovation of the north A/C duct work. I gave them a drawing of the changes I wanted and they suggested useful improvements to my recommended duct changes. For $1100 they completed the duct work including dampers to allow me to adjust airflow to each part of the house. Now my whole house maintains a consistent temperature.My only complaint with Wolff Mechanical was that the salesperson was slow to get back to me sometimes. However, once I got a contact within the service dept they were very responsive. Overall, I'm very satisfied with Wolff Mechanical."

Estimator made an error in estimating which we caught while he was here, so the error was corrected appropriately (he was new at estimating and reading figures from a chart, used figures from the wrong column). We ultimately went with a different contractor who offered a slightly different technique that made more sense to us. They offered a good price and have a good reputation in our community."
