"If I could have this experience every time I tried to hire someone to do something, I would have much more faith in humanity. Things went very, very well. He inspected the chimney, made a recommendation, quoted a price, I asked him to add a couple of services -which- he did and almost the entire job was completed in one visit. He had to return with the properly sized cap. I paid him for all the work completed and not-completed and he returned in a few days and finished, as promised. I almost wish I had another chimney just so I could do business with him again. Oh... did I mention that a chimney that had been leaking rain into the house, and onto the ceiling for a long, long time does NOT leak anymore ?! Can you tell I'm happy about this?"

"They came in, took off the old roof, replaced it and basically that is what they did.  They took off the old shingles, put down new frame, put on the more expensive, upgraded shingles on there, cleaned up everything and left.  I had hail and wind damage on my house so I was just trying to find someone and that is when I joined Angies List.   They came up and they are close to where I live that is why I used them.  These guys are good and they don’t do any advertising the only advertising is the word of mouth.  Over all they were good and they did everything that they said that they were going to do and more.  Price wise they gave me at the same price that the insurance company gave me so there was no overage anything.  They gave me exactly on the ballpark that the insurance company gave me minus my deductible and plus I upgraded to a more expensive shingles which I paid for.  They don’t give you a price.  Whatever your insurance company says that they are going to pay to get it done that is what they will charge you.  Whatever the insurance company comes out and says based on your roof, the size of it, how many squares of it have to be done.  They say they done believe in trying to rip anybody off.  Whatever the insurance company says that is what they are going to tell you.  They were good and I have referred them to someone else.  If I have to use them in the future I would.  I have put life time shingles so I am hoping I don’t have to use them.  But if anyone normally has a problem, I have a neighbor across the street and he in the end is giving in to do his roof so I put their name across because of him I inquired  where can I find them.  Then they told me that they don’t do any advertising.  They want the people that they deal with, their customers to sell their name.  I just happened to see their name on Angies List and I decided to call them.  But there is nothing where I live here that anything about them being advertised.  I was impressed when I asked them where I can find them; they told me that they don’t do any advertising.  They allow their customers, if you don’t like their work then tell them that they are doing crappy work and they would move on.  But if you like their work then tell someone about them."

He then brought his framer by and together they designed a roof to cover the patio that upon completion looks like it is original to the house. There were several issues which had to be dealt with; not the least of which was a chimney which diverted water to the wrong place for our new cover. But that was taken care of by some more design work. They really did a great job. Next came the actual building of the cover. The workmen were nothing short of artists with a saw and nail gun and paintbrush and roller. No kidding! We love our new patio cover and could not be happier with Mills Family Properties. The next time we have a job that needs doing, we will definitely call Tony."

From pictures sent via email, they helped me decide on size, and design elements and promptly sent me referrence since they reside outside my area. The item was made, shipped and damaged in transit and they took care of details of returning item to them, dealing wiht the insurance company, correcting the issue, keeping me up to date in the process and remaking the awning and getting it back to me. They supplied detailed instruction to my contractor for installation and were available via phone for consult during the process. I am very pleased."

"They are extremely overpriced. They were quite outrageous. It was a free estimate. It was both an issue of price and they had about a three week turnaround time that they could come and see me. I was trying get the paint before that. I got a couple bids, they were the highest. It just sounded like they were busy.
