"Wow! Our long term landscaper's business folded during COVID. We checked Angi's and found Jay's. This is a is first class operation. After initial call, someone was out to provide an estimate almost immediately. Shortly thereafter, we received a follow up call to ensure we covered everything and to see if we had any questions. We booked a date for the work to be performed two week later. On the day, a small army of very personable gentlemen appeared right on time, confirmed the work to be done and got right to it. These folks worked very hard thru a very long day (in the rain). The results were spectacular! We unconditionally recommend them. Fair price, friendly quality service and wonderful results. We couldn't be happier."

"The service for the big deal from Pennygreen for 149 for lawn aeration was real good. Everything was fine. They showed up on time. They did the job. It looked good. There were no additional costs. They charged exactly what they said they would charge you. The pricing is definitely an 'A' because I have another landscaping service that I have been using for other things but their price for aeration was way too high. They just recently quoted me again and knocked like 90 dollars off and they are still way too high. I know that it was a special and maybe not the ongoing rate but either way it was very good."

"In late fall, I noticed that a piece of a stone wall abutting my driveway had broken off and was drifting into the driveway. Concerned that the wall would fall into the driveway, I contacted Quinn Brothers Masonry. They came out within two days, assessed the situation and gave me an estimate. The work involved taking down both walls, knocking off old mortar on the stones, and removing ivy. After the walls were taken down, protective covering was placed on the exposed dirt, and drainage pipes and gravel were installed. They then rebuilt the walls, using the original stones. While rebuilding the walls, Patrick Quinn advised me that my stone house foundation had been compromised by paint and old mortar. I authorized additional work to restore the foundation. The paint on the stone foundation was removed and the old mortar was taken out. Then, the entire foundation had new mortar installed. I am extremely pleased with the results and will definitely hire them again."

"Chris has been doing this for decades and is pretty laid back. He was the first contractor I called due to the great reviews he has on this site, and also due to his responses to various customer reviews. Given the scope of work, I found his price to be very reasonable and I hired him on the spot. On the day the work was performed, he and his crew showed up on time. Chris described the job to this crew, and then left them to do the work. They did a nice, thorough job. They were even extra careful about grinding out an Arborvitae stump that was very close to my house -- they placed a piece of plywood up against my house front, behind the stump, so that the stump grinder wouldn't bang against my stucco front. I don't remember hearing him hit the plywood, but it was a precaution that I appreciated. London Plane trees are very messy; they have lots of orange seed balls that will release their seeds when hitting the ground. After they brought those trees down, there was orange "fluff" all over the place, and they did a nice job cleaning it all up. Chris came back at the end of the job to check on things, and collect payment. Note that the price shown is before factoring in an Angie's List coupon for 5% off."
