"I hired Dorson Jackson of Jackson Construction as my general contractor to perform a kitchen addition and remodel in September 2022. He completely gutted my kitchen, moved a wall to expand the space, and installed new everything (custom cabinets, countertop, tile backsplash, LVP flooring, lighting, plumbing, and appliances). It was a big project so inevitably had a few (pretty minor) hiccups along the way, but he was always quick to respond to and resolve my concerns. I am so pleased with the end result! I recently required a warranty repair due to an issue with my dryer vent (which was moved during the remodel). He had someone at my house the next day to resolve my issue. Dorson is a man of his word and does excellent work. I would not hesitate to hire him again."

"It went perfectly! Stuck to schedule. No surprises. Final price was as estimated. Great help from American Home & Stone designer in selecting tiles and solid surfaces and coordinating sinks, tub, toilet, and all fixtures. Effective management of subs for demo, tile, electric, and plumbing, and painting. Subs were punctual, worked carefully and professionally, keep the work area and house entry clean. We were (are) so pleased with the experience of working with American Home & Stone. Would recommend them to anyone, without reservation."

"Overall, Lance was responsive and willing to work with us. His quality was good and the counters look great. He and his worker arrived on time and followed through on every aspect of the job. On the rough-cut slab, we had certain areas that we wanted in specific locations in the kitchen and he was able to deliver on that promise. At one point he expressed concern over brining into the house a section of counter we wanted as one piece. He cautioned that the necessary tilt of the L-shaped slab while enterting the doorway could result in cracking. As a result, the slab was cut in two pieces and his seam was very good. The only advice is to be more cautious with the knife while removing the old counter."
