"I love my floors, they look fantastic!! Quote process was really easy and comfortable. Mack had some really good advice to help me pick out the right flooring. Install went smoothly. When I noticed something later I didn't catch at the walkthrough, I called Mack and he got it fixed."

"Did a great job restretching my carpet. Also did a good job adding sub floor screws to correct some of my squeaking."

"Claudio and his team came in to help complete our floor installation after we were unable to complete it on our own. He knew just what to do and it looks great!"

"Juan appears to do excellent work. He patched my very leaky and complicated roof and over the last two winters I have had no further leaks in that area. I think the quality of his work is very good. I think I may have overpaid for the work done given it's a patch and the ceiling material on the inside was not re-replaced. I did agree to that, thinking I would have him return to replace the whole roof at some point. I would hire him again, especially if we could nail down a timeline and I knew the job would be completely completed."

"Jimmy and his team worked exceptionally hard to complete the large job of painting and refinishing our deck. There were a lot of unforeseen problems with the existing material, and Jimmy worked tirelessly to make sure the job was completed to the highest of standards. He takes pride in his finished product and it definitely showed. I would hire Jimmy again in the future for additional work of this kind or another."

"We got three bids on this roofing project on our primary 1390 sq. ft. residence.  Two of our bidders were Angie's List recommendations. The third bidder wasn't but was highly recommended locally.
John Jones, owner of Mid-Valley Building, was very professional and prompt.  He showed up when scheduled and was prepared. He responded promptly when we asked for modifications to his bid and gave us other options to consider.  We felt like we had selected a good team player when we signed our contract.  He asked for half at signing and the remainder at completion.  He was willing to take credit cards for payment which worked well for us.
John and his teammates showed up at 7:00AM and were done by 3:30PM.  John directed the roofing crew and his mother, Julie, did ground work cleanup. At the end of the day the roof was fully installed and the cleanup was perfect!
At the end of the day we asked for a new roof on our garden shed and John responded with a good bid and completed that add-on within a week.
All of his employees were pleasant and mindful or our property. We couldn't be happier and we highly recommend him and his crew! We will definitely use Mid-Valley Building again in the future.

"Jim and his partner did a complete bathroom remodel for me. He stripped the bathroom down to the cement floor and rebuilt it to include a stone tiled walk-in shower w/sliding frameless glass doors, a granite countertop vanity, and beautiful 18" tiled floor. His workmanship was superb and he was incredibly hard working, considerate, efficient and clean throughout the 6 day project. I was in a bind in respect to budget so he worked with me allowing me to buy the materials direct and pay him for the labor and general supplies. He was very competitive which allowed me to have a 5 star spa like bathroom on a tight budget. Thank you to Jim and his partner for an excellent job. I highly recommend them and would hire them again for my next remodel project."

"Josh was a great guy to work with, easy going, listens, not pushy, first rate work. He is a hard worker and skilled craftsman. I would highly recommend him for any construction job. I will hire him again as more work needs to be done."

"We weren't that happy with the results. It was a few years ago, and the surface is still pretty much intact. He had to use a primer and deck paint, rather than stain, and the primer showed through in several places as bright white marks against the dark brown stain. He left the extra paint so we could refinish where we wanted. We don't want or expect any follow up at this time. I understand that the deck needed a lot more work than the worker expected. So, my experience may not be a fair representation of this particular contractor.
