"Working with Paradigm was easy from quote to finished work. This started out as exploratory--we had taken on a tiny amount of water during our first summer in the house. I called to schedule a quote, and Bob was able to come out within a few days. As he inspected the basement, he clearly explained everything that he was seeing. His expertise and willingness to talk through his recommendations in detail gave us a lot of confidence. This turned into a larger project when we took on a lot of water from a new area during a few days of severe storms. They worked with us to move up our first date and get on the calendar ASAP for the second round of work. They worked quickly and efficiently to do the first round of mold remediation and waterproofing, which involved removing damaged wood paneling, treating studs, installing a vapor barrier in a crawlspace/trench, and digging out basement window wells. The second day of work was the larger project. We had a small sump pump and hydrogap on one wall of the basement, but we needed to install drains to catch water from two additional walls. The existing sump pump wasn't large enough to handle it, so we needed a new system. Bernie and his crew showed up on time, and Bernie walked me through all of the work that they would be doing. Throughout the day, Bernie, Andy (an owner), and a couple of crew members took time to answer all of the questions that I had. They were patient, professional, and very customer-oriented. I am also very impressed with the quality of work that they did. They removed a wall and shower from the bathroom, rough casted and parged a wall, touched up parging on other walls, installed the drains, and replaced the sump pump. They pay attention to detail. Everything looks clean and solid, and they clearly know how to work efficiently. They are also very careful with clean-up--they didn't leave any dust or debris behind. Definitely wouldn't hesitate to hire them again!"

"I cannot say enough about the work Brandon did. Our house had a dryer unit that died. It was inconveniently located at the bottom of our basement stairs, in front of our heater, and vented out into the garage. In addition you needed to jump the dryer electrical cord and squeeze in between the heater/utility sink to access the washer. A1 was able to re-locate all three items to the opposite wall setting up the necessary piping to do so. A new basement window was also ordered and installed. This was done quickly and efficiently. It is so much more convenient and functional. I will be using them in the future for other projects and highly recommend them."

"We had a French drain installed in our basement, along with two sump pumps. From what I can tell, the work was performed correctly and to the specifications outlined in the contract. I found Shawn, the owner, to be responsive, helpful, and pleasant to deal with. Overall, the crew that installed the trench and sumps arrived on time, worked efficiently, and completed the job in 3 days, leaving a clean basement behind. For the sake of fair balance, I will detail two issues in the service I received. The first had to do with the condition of my footer when the trench was dug. As they were digging, I noted that in one section of the wall, the footer appeared have been damaged by their jack hammering. Upon calling Shawn about this issue and sending him pictures of the damage, he stated that it was related to how large the footer was and how the footer was poured when the house was built. He also assured me that the footer was in good condition and the part they chipped away was not load bearing and had no impact on the structural integrity of the foundation. This seemed to be a reasonable explanation so I thought nothing of it. The second issue had to do with cracks in the basement floor. Before the work was started, there were one or two visible cracks in the floor. Yet, after their work was complete there were well over a dozen visible cracks. Upon calling Shawn again, he stated that his jackhammers could not have caused that damage and there might have been smaller cracks that got larger when they began working. I do not have photographic proof to dispute this explanation so I can only cite my memory regarding the condition of the basement floor; however, in combination with the first issue it makes me wonder how much care was taken when they dug the trench. Not being structural engineer or having photographic proof, I can not refute the explanations given to me, but my advice to others would be to photographically document the condition of your basement prior to getting work done and carefully watch the work being performed."

The crew jackhammered a trench along the wall in my basement and installed a drainage pipe, fill and a sump pump. They cemented over the trench and it looks like they were never here. "My tenant called me about water dripping from the attic and I thought my worst fears of having to purchase an entire new Heat Pump/AC system were coming true.  I called Christian HVAC on Sunday June 30th and a technician was up in the attic at 6pm checking out the problem.  Turns out my old HVAC system was set up to drain to a sewer stack which nowadays is a big no no.  I also found out the other HVAC system in the attic (downstairs neighbor) was draining to the same place and was destined to overflow as well!  The technician (Dan) explained everything and even spoke to my downstairs neighbor explaining that we both needed to get dedicated separate lines to the outside of the property.  This was a complex job, on a very old heat pump and it was not one but two units to reroute I was honestly really worried about the cost.  This morning, Christian HVAC showed up with two technicians and completed all the work in less than 3 hours. They laid tarps, vacuumed up and even placed floorboards I bought up in the attic where they needed them to work.  For the price I paid (and my neighbor's price was equally just as low) I was so pleased I bought their yearly service contract to cover my older system and will be buying another contract from them for my primary residence.  Highly recommend this company, fantastic service and professionalism no BS.
