"Mary and the staff at Cristomar did another wonderful job of cleaning my rugs! I was amazed at how much brighter the wool Persian rug looked and our nylon office rug looked new again. They will pick up and deliver your rugs, repair them if needed, and perform other services to make your rugs their best. I'd use this company again without hesitation."

"There was a mixture of red oak and white oak which were original floors plus two rooms with brand new oak. They looked dramatically different before the crew sanded, repaired and stained. Afterwards the floors were immaculate with no noticeable difference in color. They all looked better than I imagined they could. This is the second time I have used P&Q. Four years ago they installed new wood flooring in the family room of my former home."

"Alex and his team did a great job. Quote for doing the work was competitive and they worked with me on pricing regarding an underlayment issue that came up during the installment that needed to be corrected to do the job correctly. The floors looked so good after completing, I’m having them do another area in my home. I highly recommended them."

"Daryl did a great job! We had a 21 year old water heater and desperately needed a new one installed. Daryl assessed what we needed to install and what we needed to update on his initial visit and agreed on pricing. In day of install, he worked quickly and efficiently to get the job done. Thanks Daryl! "

"It was amazing. This is the third time I hired Kade. They are on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. All construction has problems. Dan, Travis and Camile are AMAZING at handling problems, not hiding them, and coming up with a solution. My project was finished months ago, but my towel rack kept coming loose. Travis came and repaired it with no questions asked. This company is beyond professional and provides a VERY detailed plan and invoice. I will be using them again."

"Very unprofessional and rude. Would not recommend Horrible quality installations. She hires cheap crews who don't even have licenses to install. She tried to scam the insurance and tell them we needed all floors replaced when only two rooms had damage. She got paid 10,000 from insurance and our floors have so many flaws. She also curses you out of you disagree with her. Her fiance even came to check out her work and said it was bad. Gaps all over the place. She also had the audacity to say my floor was dirty. Wasn't that her job to make it better. Poor Poor customer service."

"Problem #1 is that they made a mess and killed some of my shrubs. It was a multi day project where they came out and pressure washed the pergola to clean it. Several plants in the surrounding area had some fibrous material stuck on them, which couldn't be removed, and several other shrubs died due to the chemicals they used. Problem #2 is that the staining was uneven and now I have several segments that are different shades. The lighter shaded areas don't seem to repel any water either. Problem #3 is the biggest problem. There are now several carpenterbee holes all over the pergola. We have had carpenter bees make homes in our fence before, but the origional seal kept the bees off the pergola. We have had this pergola for 5 years, and not one carpenter bee issue until we had it redone by Sterling."

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Flowery Branch, GA

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
