"I left a message with Eades Plumbing & Tile Services for an estimate to repair a leaky toilet.  Jim Eades promptly returned my call the evening of the same day.  As a result of our conversation, I hired him to come the following week to make repairs.  Jim and his assistant arrived exactly within the time frame they had given.  It was raining and they both came in with little footies on to protect my floors.  They were very polite, to the point, and knowledgeable.  Jim spent a few minutes checking a couple of things on the leaky toilet and then gave me his conclusion/advise.  Of course, I had a million questions and he patiently answered them all.  As a precaution against future issues, I asked him to replace the wax seal on a second toilet as well.  Repairs were made in a timely fashion.  He provided me with a detailed bill describing the issue and repairs made along with his business card.  He was very professional!  I'm glad I found Eades Plumbing & Tile Services on Angie's List.  I selected him in large part because of the excellent reviews...and I was not disappointed.  I heartily recommend this company! <br />"

"The Montgomery Sanitation servicemen, Bobby and Ron, were prompt, professional and hard working. They diagnosed the approximate location of the block and attempted to clear it with a large motorized augur. Upon meeting resistance along the line hey got town utility people to come out quickly which really helped since it was not clear exactly where the block was, on my property or town easement. The town had some extra high-tech equipment which was very useful and some young guys who found a hidden (buried) cleanout. Turned out that tree roots had grown into the poorly fitted buried sewer cleanout (6" cap over a 4" pipe is begging for problems!). They then replaced the cap with a proper fitting onet after digging out the tenacious roots! Thank you Montgomery Sanitation Services (and Town of Blacksburg Public Works), even though I am not reviewing them per se)!"

"Crowe has expanded into a general contractor business. I needed a "one stop shop" for all our needs to prepare our home for sale. The work in the basement was quite extensive as the entire ceiling needed to be replaced after a leak in the 30' main kitchen drain line. Patching was not an option as the hole was quite large and the ceiling was popcorn. They also installed additional can lights while the ceiling was open. They suggested and I approved the installation of crown molding, which makes the room look 'done'. Chris (owner) was very reasonable on pricing and I could not speak higher of his lead man, Brandon. The other gentlemen on the crew were also professional, courteous and easy to get along with. <br /> After the ceiling was finished, I called them back for a second job to help get other areas of the house ready that I could not handle alone. This included painting the rest of a very tall interior stairwell, all kitchen and bathroom cabinets (this required extensive sanding and 7 coats of paint), painting of the deck and the roof soffits. Again, all of the crew were professional, courteous and easy to get along with and the price was right. <br /> After the house sold and the home inspection revealed repairs, I returned to Crowe. This time, the tub stopper, door jamb, gutters and stair post needed repair. <br /> The fact that they are a 'one stop shop' saved me the frustration of dealing with the scheduling and payment of multiple contractors. I spent about $5500 for all of the work, not including the paint. I suspect I would have paid 2-3 times that for individual contractors. I highly recommend them.  <br />"
