"I located JLV Construction on Angies List while looking for a local roofer. They were highly rated on Angies list with many positive reviews and I wanted to use a local business. I sent a request for them to provide me with a quote to tear off my existing roof and install a new roof. Within 1 hour I was contacted by one of their employees who scheduled a time and date to provide me with an estimate. Asael showed right on time and spoke with me regarding the work that I wanted done, he inspected my roof and told me he would email me a quote providing the cost including all of the work and materials they would provide. A few hours later I had that quote. I also contacted two other local roofing companies so I could get some competitive bids. One company took 2 days to respond and the other took 3 days. Not a great start. The next couple of days I went over the quotes and compared cost to service on all. During this time I emailed and called Asael several times with questions and each time he responded quickly and he answered all of my questions. I contracted with JLV Construction because of great reviews, a local company, competitive price and they were the one company that acted in a manner that said we value you and your business. Asael called and told me the crew would be at my house early Tuesday morning, the crew showed up when they were scheduled to and went right to work. After the first day they had stripped the existing roof off, replaced the sheets of plywood that were bad and installed the new underlayment. Day 2 came and the crew showed up bright and early and went to work. By the end of day 2 my new roof was installed, my yard was completely cleaned and anything they had moved out of their way had been put back. Very rarely these days do I feel that a company over delivers on their promise but in this case they did. From the initial contact to the final inspection everything was handled professionally, they were there when they said they would be and the new roof looks great. Many thanks for a great experience. "Jon and his crew came highly recommended from our friends and neighbors, and they are the best contractors I've ever worked with. We have had an extremely difficult leaking issue with our roof, which multiple companies have attempted to fix. When the leak came back during Portland's sudden monsoon rains, Jon dropped everything and came out to do a quick patch. When that didn't work, he came back two days later with a co-worker, on zero lead, to find the leaks and do a full reshingling. The two cheerily worked into the early dark to fix the roof that day. His rates are by far the best we've seen, and he's just naturally a gregarious guy and an obvious good person who will do whatever it takes for his customers. That's the kind of contractor I want on my side and I cannot recommend him enough."

"The good experience with Raindrop started with the estimate; Lee was knowedgeable and up front with me about the need to fix my chimney before they could do the roof work; neither of the other roofing contractors had mentioned that. When I accepted their bid, but the work couldn't start for over a month, they held the original price even though the cost of materials had just gone up. When they came to do the work, they were courteous and always willing to answer any questions I had about the process. And Ryan, the owner, is a real sweetheart; he came by at the end to check and make sure I was satisfied, which I definitely was. I've already recommended them privately to 2 friends who are ready to redo their own roofs."

"I am very happy that I chose Jose Bayardo and his brother Thomas to install my new roof and skylights. The work was very well done. Jose took the time to explain their approach, what they found as they removed the previous roof (cement tiles), and what they would accomplish each day. They worked with me on placement of the skylights (I changed my mind a few times). And the interior finish work (dry wall and texturing) was very well done. "Felipe came out within 2 days of my request for a quote. He was on time and was professional with his approach. He asked me if I had received a quote in the past - I had, 2 years prior. I told him that the square footage was 1700 qs. ft.. He gave me a quote for Certainteed Mountain Ridge tile and left me with adequate material to help me make a choice, if I wanted an alternative. I liked his direct and professional approach. He did not however climb and inspect my roof before giving me a quote. I realize that would have been a lot more work but that also meant that he missed that I had 4 skylights that would need to be replaced. That was not a part of his quote. This is the reason I did not give him an A in my overall rating. I ended up going with another contractor for the job. I however wanted to leave a review for Felipe and All Roofing Eagle Construction because I was left with a favorable impression of him and his company. I appreciated the timely quote and the professional handling."
