"CHI did an exceptional job replacing windows and a storm door. The cluster of 7 windows is in a brick-cladded wall, with curved oak trim on the interior. The result is beautiful--the new trim matches perfectly. What most impressed us was how careful and thorough everyone was. The crew worked together to come up with the best way to handle problems. For example, the storm door hardware didn't fit right, so they came back an extra morning to modify the wood framing. Overall, they did what was needed to get a good result."

"Brian was great. Very responsive, answering calls after hours and also trying to be as flexible as possible to make sure our schedules aligned and he could get the work done as soon as possible. When he got there he was very knowledgeable, took a look and explained to me what was going on. There was a problem with the side cables as well as the overall spring tension. He did a general inspection of the main door as well as the smaller 3rd car door. Also caught a couple other smaller issues that he fixed along the way without any expensive add ons. Before wrapping up he also touched up both doors to ensure proper operation and movement. Great job overall, will be calling him for any other garage door needs in the future."

"Although the kitchen remodel took longer than we hoped, we were very satisfied with the outcome. The delays were beyond Mark's control and he attempted to address them and resolve them promptly. One was for a door that was defective and another was due to his usual plumber being overbooked. Some of our favorite things about working with Mark were his willingness to incorporate design ideas we had and be flexible about meeting us outside of usual business hours, on Saturdays, early mornings or evenings. We really wanted to use some barn wood from a grandparents' barn for shelving. He worked with a colleague of his to make metal brackets that would hold the heavier wood and the items we were hoping to display there. They were really beautiful, in contrast to the other more delicate design features. We loved the connection to our roots and how they made the space feel personal. Some of our favorite subcontractors that Mark worked with were the tile professionals and painters. They were not only very skilled in their craft, but also very personable and thoughtful about being in our space. We look forward to using Mark again, on perhaps a smaller project. :)"
