"Levite Solutions did an amazing job helping us tackle several projects around the house. We needed drywall repair, furniture assembly, and a few miscellaneous fixes that had been piling up for months. Communication was excellent from start to finish, they arrived on time, worked efficiently, and made sure everything was cleaned up before leaving. What really stood out was the professionalism and attention to detail. It’s hard to find reliable handyman services that are responsive, honest, and fairly priced, but Levite Solutions exceeded expectations. We’ll definitely be using them again and highly recommend them to anyone needing quality home repair or handyman work."

"Joe is an absolutely fantastic plumber and expert of his profession. He’s always prompt and comes to see you when he says. He diagnosed our issue quickly, fixed and took the time to check over our entire home for other possible issues. There’s so many plumbing pros out there , but we definitely trust Joe and his quality of work. He’s honest and far, doesn’t try and upsell or take shortcuts."

"It went very well. After a bit of a wait, I received a very comprehensive report of 88 specific items as well as bacteria, fungi and particles. Each Item detected over the EPA drinking water limits had an explanation sheet. Also provided was a contact person at the company to address any questions you had about the report findings. I thought the service was well worth the $300 just for the peace of mind. I intend to use the company on an annual basis going forward."

"He drained the old water heater and then cut the old supply and return lines.  He disconnected the gas line.  He hauled the old wate heater out to his company truck.  He installed the new water heater and used flex fittings to re-attach the new water heater to new supply and return lines.  He re-connected the gas line.  He started the pilot light and explained this operation, the heat settings and showed me where the site hole to the burner was.  Asked if I wanted to replace the old water heater blanket, but I told him I wasn't sure I needed it.  The new water heater has better insulation then the old one.  The price of the install included all labor, parts and removal of the old water heater.  He gave me a $35.00 discount off the labor.  The Angie's list discount, with this company was for labor only.  This company was one of two that actually came out to give me an estimate onsite.  The other companies gave me a phone estimate, but with the final price contingent on the layout of the various piping, venting and the actual site and ability to get in and out easily.  I just felt that the two companies that came out deserved my consideration, because they took the extra step of actually coming out to my home.  The estimate for this job, that I finally accepted, was not the lowest bid nor the highest bid.  It was, however, the acual bid for all services as they knew what the work site looked like and their bid was not open ended.  I felt it was a fair bid and I did not need to worry about add on costs."

"We had them replace our rear deck about a year ago, did a great job. Posted a review here on that job. They did some external wood trim on the upper patio to tie things together. They pressured washed both decks. The new rear deck is a single level. The front deck has three levels. Were very clean during the pressure washing and ensured that no mess was left behind after. They stained the rear deck and made sure that everything was covered and sealed completely before starting. After they sprayed everything was cleaned very well. They spent a lot of time making sure that the siding on house was clean and free from any stain. After they painted the front after prepping the area completely. Gave the deck two coats of solid color stain. Gave the top deck a third coat because they were not happy with just two coats. Cleaned everything up and left nothing behind. Overall great job again by them and are planning on having them remodel our bathroom shortly. <br />"

"The person performing the service had to make several trips because one of the "new" parts turned out to be faulty. I found both Complete Protection and their local repair contractor to be both very responsive and totally professional at every stage of the repair process."

FAQs for plumbing installation for a remodel or addition projects in Forsyth, MO

Adding bathroom plumbing to a detached garage starts with the basic line installation cost of $900 to $1,300. On top of this base expense, you'll need to budget for each fixture. A toilet costs  $250 to $550, sinks cost $150 to $800, and a shower or bathtub costs $400 to $1,900. The project will also require ventilation, moisture-resistant materials, and possibly electrical work. Remember that these costs reflect only the plumbing aspects—additional construction, finishing, and permitting expenses will apply to complete a functional bathroom space.

While certain aspects of garage renovation might be suitable for DIY enthusiasts, plumbing installation requires professional expertise. Connecting to water and sewer systems demands specialized knowledge and equipment, and improper installation can result in severe water damage, code violations, and potential health hazards. Most municipalities require permits for plumbing modifications, and these often stipulate that licensed professionals must perform work. Consider limiting your involvement to simpler tasks like painting or basic finishing work.

The timeframe for adding plumbing to a detached garage spans one to three days for the actual plumbing work. However, this represents only the active installation period. The complete project timeline must account for planning, obtaining permits (which can take weeks depending on your locality), coordinating multiple contractors if needed, and addressing any unexpected challenges that arise during installation. Weather conditions can also impact excavation and outdoor connection work.

Adding plumbing to a detached garage will likely increase your property taxes. Tax assessors consider plumbing an improvement that enhances property value and functionality. The specific tax impact varies by location and project scope. Converting a garage into living space with plumbing facilities can trigger significant reassessment in many jurisdictions. Before proceeding with your project, consult your local tax assessor's office to understand the potential tax implications and factor this ongoing expense into your decision-making process.
