"Egress Windows Fairfax installed an egress window in my basement and did a fantastic job. The window permits emergency evacuation from a room being converted into a bedroom. The reasonable cost of the egress window immediately raised the value of my home. To minimize damage to my yard and my neighbor’s yard the company manually dug the pit for the egress window to below the foundation line and beneath the foundation drainage pipe. I was very surprised to see a large sump pump pit installed below the foundation. The contractor explained that they do this as a service in the event of any future drainage issues it is quick and low cost to install a sump pump. Small stones filled the bottom of the pit. The contractor offered several options for pre-fabricated surrounds to line the pit. Every member of the crew of Egress Windows Fairfax knew their job and worked diligently. They only rested during their lunch time. At the end of the second day the job was completed and the soil was well graded around the new egress window. This is a company with long term employees who take pride in their work and who strive to satisfy their customer. I highly recommend the company."

Jordan Jones put a hanger inside the cover of the window so I could hang a plant. Jordan,Joshua Jones and all of the work crew were very professional and kind. The quality of the work is superb. I even had a custom closet made that l am very pleased with. The installation of the window was completed in a few days. The staff cleaned up well. Due to the heavy equipment used,part of my lawn was affected. JDS planted grass seed and the grass has already sprouted in just a few days. "From the estimator to Sam, the scheduler to the crew of painters, everyone was very polite and professional. I was able to get the original job scheduled within a few days. Loved their work, called to have them do some additional work and was able to have it scheduled the next day. The price included all the paint, primer etc. They arrived promptly and were like an army of painters carefully laying and taping drop cloths to protect the floors etc. Most of the work was completed the first day but a few painters returned the next day to finish up the cabinets. The quality of their work is top notch. Everything is perfectly done, no crooked lines, drops of paint etc. They completely cleaned up the work areas. JLI Services, Inc took on our project not knowing what was under the overgrown ivy. Once all the ivy was removed, they built the 100 ft long staggered retaining wall, used the proper drainage for the height of the wall, back filled, and then added top soil with grading to connect to our existing yard. As a bonus, they laid grass seed and covered with hay. Through this process, we gained an additional 3 1/2 feet of yard that we never knew we had because of the ivy overgrowth. We added to their scope of work, and they were able to meet our needs each time. The job was completed on schedule and done on budget. The workers were friendly and answered any questions we had. They cleaned up everyday, which was important since we have dogs. Several neighbors and even the inspector commented on the quality of the work.

"These guys redid the master bathroom, our basement bathroom, and renovated the h*** out of my townhouse so I could sell it. They put in all new carpeting and tile in the kitchen, new counters, new lighting, and painted everything. They also fixed a plumbing problem found in the pre-sale home inspection.
I can't say enough good about these guys! The only problem I had is sometimes they weren't quite as punctual as I had hoped they would be, but also they stayed late to finish some jobs correctly. I plan to use them again when I renovate my condo.
Also, I hired them to come with me during the inspections of properties I was thinking of buying. They saved me from buying a property with a collapsing and improperly supported floor. Recommend them for this type of work, too!
