"We are very pleased. We interviewed a number of security companies and received proposals including DIY to the big national and regional companies. I was not satisfied with any of the companies until I learned of 1stSecurity. Their pricing was good, both for the monthly fee ($40) and for the cost of the equipment. We asked them to install system prior to a trip we were taking in a few days and they met this short timeframe. The installation took 1-2 hours. The equipment we purchased was fairly extensive as we have a fairly large house and we wanted comprehensive coverage. This included 2 glass break sensors, a motion detector, and numerous door and window switches as well as a fire detection monitor. I accidentally set off the alarm and received a call from the monitoring company in under 10 seconds. The control panel for the system is an easy to use touch screen device, similar to an iPad. The system is very capable so you can connect smart devices to it if so inclined. We have been very pleased with the product and service so far (about 2 months)."

"Workers arrived on time as scheduled. We had a little snafu with the building rules; my building requires that the hallway from the elevator to the apartment door be covered with masonite.  They were not prepared for this, and providing this service cost an additional $275.  So if anyone else is doing this in manhattan, I recommend you check with your building codes and make sure everything is worked out ahead of time so that there are no surprise extra costs.
The guys were very courteous and efficient.  The floors look beautiful, and there is minimal dust.  Overall, I am quite happy.  I would recommend them.
