"The project went GREAT !!! Painting and Moore just finished an interior whole-house project for me. This included removing multiple rooms of 30 year old wallpaper, borders, and included removing grasscloth in a 2 story living room and 3 halls. Their company practice of not requiring a deposit and no payment until the project is finished was true. Their pricing was higher than another quote I got, but the old adage of "You get what you pay for." proved 100% true. They state that they will even come back for touch-ups, if you find uh-ohs, or moving-in blems. To date, I have not taken advantage of that service. They are able make slight repairs if needed. They adapt well to a last-minute work addition or request, will make suggestions, and even changed light bulbs to LEDs in the 2-story room for me. In all, I am extremely pleased, and the walls look better than I EVER imagined they could! It was a very messy 8 day project, but they showed up everyday, worked all days that were LONG days. (I was fortunate that the house is empty while they worked.) I would recommend them and will call them again, when time for outside work. My sales and project manager was Ben Landrum and the painting team was led by Danny. Ben returns calls quickly and keeps his customers informed every step of the process. He calls for clarification, if needed. Painting and Moore comes armed for the initial quote with a quote notebook containing their practices, their insurances, references. Ben was able to provide 3 separate quotes, based on 3 separate areas that I called Phases 1, 2, and 3. It made the scope of the work more understandable. (I actually contracted to do all 3 phases at the same time. It just made more sense in the long run.) They leave the quote/company promo notebook with you, so that you can verify any/all the information as part of your decision process. It is all upfront and in writing, which is refreshing. I checked everything. After verifying proof of insurances, an online check of SC and NC shows the business is current with registration, and they provide references. They are Top of Angie's List and member of BBB- Piedmont. Always do your own homework, but everything checked out end-February 2019. As a first-time customer of ANY work that is this extensive and this expensive, I felt and still feel, comfortable with my choice of Painting and Moore."

He set up the dates, came as promised, was punctual and very professional. The painting did not take longer than promised and was VERY well done. I will definitely hire again! Albert?s man came in at 9:30am.  He had the wallpaper and the glue removed by noon, the walls patched (my walls didn?t need much patching) and primed by 2:30pm and the main coat of paint completed by 4:00pm.  He didn?t hesitate when I asked him to also paint/freshen up the trim.  He even walked in with trim paint in his hand and asked about it before I asked.  He did a fantastic job that I refuse to do myself and I do a lot of my own home repair and upgrading.  He covered my new cabinets and countertops to protect them.  He cleaned everything and left no mess of any kind.



I highly recommend Albert?s team of good hard workers that take the time to do the job right and attention to detail.  I?ll be calling them back in a few months to repaint my entire family room.  Thank you Albert for the great job.

"Russ and his son did an excellent job from start to finish. Russ provided an initial quote and from there, we discussed materials and scope of operations. Most particularly, Russ was extremely careful removing trim carpentry so to avoid having to duplicate stain and color. He didn't splinter or break or damage anything. He covered my surrounding floor to prevent damage from foot traffic. He moved the refrigerator, stove, and toilet providing the proper floor protection while the appliances were out of place. We made sure we understood each other's intentions and got no surprises as to the type of mortar, grout width, and center lines. His cuts were as precise as humanly possible. He treated the job as if it was for his own house. The job site was kept clean during the four day project and inconvenience was kept to an absolute minimum. Their work is beautiful and we definitely recommend him and his son as professional and true craftsmen."

"Andre is a terric handyman and carpenter. He is professional, diligent, timely, and pays attention to detail. He has done several projects for us including building shelving units in a work shed, repairing a leaking shower, fixing huge holes in our ceiling and patching cracks to make the drywall seamless and brand new looking. He has rebuilt built-ins around a fireplace and cut granite to fit the shelving. He can do pretty much anything you ask him to.
