"Had an absolutely great experience with District Floor Depot. They were able to flexibly arrange a short and easy estimate where they showed up on time and asked some great questions about the project (which was installing new vinyl flooring in our basement den). They were very responsive in sending the quote and setting the project date. The two team members who did the work were awesome - friendly, knowledgeable, hard working, and very easy to work with. They even cut a custom piece of flooring to cover a floor drain. I couldn’t be happier with the results and the overall experience, and I would highly recommend District Floor Depot!"

"Torres Flooring did an excellent job installing new floors on two levels and two staircases in our townhome. Mr. Torres was very accesible to communicate with every step of the way. The estimate provided was clear as far as the cost and the services included in it. The project was promptly completed as promised. I appreciated being able to reach out to him for minor details I had questions about post completion. He made sure to address our concerns and that the work done was completely to our satisfaction."

"The project coordinator (Mike) arrived on time for the estimate, promptly provided that estimate, and was a professional throughout the project. Demo and install work started on time. Sanding/finishing work took several days longer than expected. Overall work generally looked very good. Unfortunately, they stumbled a bit on some important details, such as: failed to reinstall the toilet and sink they removed in a 1/2 bath; failed to properly fill holes where old stair treads met stringers; did not know when to use caulk vs. wood filler; poor initial repair of several damaged boards; forgot to install quarter-round in several places; etc. They ran a good race but stopped short of the finish line and had to be coaxed across. I like these guys (especially the finisher Jose) and would hire them again, but wish I had not been put in the position of needing to serve as the quality control supervisor. Otherwise, they easily would have earned a 5. UPDATE 6/15/202: The estimator and project manager showed up on time and provided a timely estimate. Demo and install proceed on time and quickly. Sanding/finishing work was delayed a bit. Ultimately, the work was very good, although I had to point out and push for the correction of numerous quality issues. Although I wish I was not put in the position of serving as the quality control supervisor, the quality issues were ultimately addressed to my satisfaction. They are nice folks to work with and I would hire them again."

"Highly Recommended - Professional and Dedicated Work I had Juan install vinyl plank flooring in both of my bathrooms, and I'm very impressed with the quality of his work. He committed a full day of effort to the project and demonstrated genuine attention to detail throughout. The flooring looks fantastic, the planks are laid straight, the transitions are clean, and the overall finish is exactly what I was hoping for. Juan was professional, respectful of my home, and worked efficiently without cutting corners. He clearly takes pride in his work, and it shows in the final result. The pattern and color of the vinyl planks complement the space perfectly, and the installation appears to be done properly with good attention to seams and edging. If you're considering hiring him for a flooring project, I'd definitely recommend it. He delivered quality craftsmanship and proved to be reliable and hardworking. I'd happily hire him again for future home improvement projects."

"AMG did a fantastic job fixing my DIY project. I started tiling the shower and made a mess of it. AMG fixed it all and it looks great."

"I've worked with DMV Home Design several times over the years. Both on our own projects and referred them to our clients who want new floors. EACH and every time, everyone is happy with their work. They show up when they say they will. They finish when they estimate (give or take a day or 2). The floors always look great with no gaps or mistakes. They consistently do good work (which is hard to find in the contractors in this area)! I highly recommend"

"They did everything they promised. The workers were timely, polite, and knew their jobs. No wasted time over about 2 1/2 days and our floors are beautiful. I ve recommended them to all of my friends with older floors"

"The price was completely out of our budget -- despite what we stated we were able to pay. Additionally, we received 3 other estimates that were 40% cheaper that what Empire could offer AND included materials to cover our problematic stairs -- which Empire suggested staining to match the laminate."
