I needed a 500 sq foot wooden deck to be removed and a 600 sq foot flagstone patio, with a sitting wall, to be put in its place. Jose came out and gave me a free estimate. His estimate was highly competitive. JP Landscaping Inc. finished ahead of schedule and did beautiful work. During the process, Jose was responsive to all of my questions. I also appreciated that the crew would clean up my yard, after each day of work. I love my patio. I would hire JP Landscaping Inc. again if I needed to. The company also repaired a section of my fence that surrounds my backyard. The fence looks like new. They did a great job matching the replacement section to my existing fence. "We hired Affordable Lawn Sprinklers and Lighting at the recommendation of our patio contractor, in connection with the reconstruction of our front entryway. We wanted accent lights installed into the hardscape. From beginning to end, our experience was fabulous. Ryan came out and walked through the project, giving recommendations for what type of light would look the best and offering a couple of options. He was quick to respond to questions, and quick to adjust quotes as needed. The installation went very smoothly. On the day of the job, the installers gave me the choice to make a final tweak - which I did. The equipment was placed where I wanted, well installed and clearly explained. Our otherwise modest house looks absolutely beautiful at night. Definitely recommend."

"The salesman missed the first appointment scheduled for 10:00 April 23 - received call from officie at 9:10 He had emergency.scheduled next appointment for April 28 at 10:00 and salesman showed  20 minutes late. He got stuck in traffic.
Salesman was very honest about the deal I had purchased the 6 landscaping lights for $649. I could take the deal but I would be calling again to add additional lights. His ideas were right on and what type of lights and where to put them. The job was scheduled for May 6 and it would take 2 days. They called to say they could come out earlier and they did and installed all of the lights in a day and a half. The lights look great and one of the lights went out just a few weeks ago and I called and they were out the next day. There is a 5 year warranty on the lights.

"Very responsive, a professional and very pleasant mechanic, excellent work, a bit exspensive, over $500.00 for 5plugs. The problem is they failed to fix the plug that was dead and failed to investigate or repair the flickering lights. I still have no idea if there is a fire hazard due to an electrical short. They did not appear to have any interest in dealing with the issue. Bottom line: I now have to hire another electrician. I originally chose Palmer because they are local, were very responsive to my inquiry and had an excellent rep per Angie's List. It is unclear to me why they were unwilling to complete the job. In any event, they failed me. I will identify and retain another electrician, just not through Angie's List . They failed me as well."

"The challenge was to align the new lighting fixture’s base with a junction box that was not flush with the surface of the ceiling. Their handyman, Endor, surpassed the challenge with skill, common sense and determination. This was not a simple installation because of the existing electrical junction box. Endor reconfigured the fixture’s base to fit snugly on the protruding junction box. As he worked, he secured the junction box (which had been previously installed without a tightening nut). He was careful and creative and fulfilled his promised estimated installation time at the quoted cost. Excellent work."

They arrived about 8am or a little after.  They went right to work and finished in about 1 1/2 hours.   They also gave me an estimate for some additional electrical sockets I want in the basement as I consider my options with renovating downstairs.  They also advised about some issues with old wiring that they found in the basement while fixing a light switch.  I was very happy with their work, their knowledge and professionalism.  I was also very satisfied with the service charge and was thrilled with how prompt they were in arrival and completing the job.  Thank you All American!
