"Judging from the reviews, I guess we are the only ones disappointed with our experience with Central New England Soapstone. Our negative experience is based almost entirely on their lack of responsiveness and communication. I called twice and left messages - got no response. A couple of weeks later my partner called twice - and finally got a callback the second time. <br /> Dave was given the specs regarding the job, but seemed very busy and distracted. Apparently he was doing trade shows. It took at least another phone call and more than a week to get a quote. It was approx $600 more than the local fabricator's, and he refused to cut the backsplash to 3/4 inch width (because we were using Beleza soapstone), which the local fabricator (Continental Stone-Sterling MA) said they could do. <br /> We were put off by the difficulty of communicating with New England Soapstone and really wanted 3/4" backsplash so we went with Continental Stone. In retrospect, even though the backsplash came out great and the job was not a disaster, they botched the sink cutout and we wish we would have used a soapstone specialist. <br /> Interestingly, we met a couple from Sherborn MA while looking at slabs at Dorado Soapstone. They were using Dave, and found him very accommodating, to the degree that they were able to negotiate a quote of almost $9000 down to about $6000. As I recall it worked out to be less than $70 sq foot - our quote was for over $100 a square foot. Obviously their job was larger, but I wonder if Dave is more interested in doing work in affluent communities, where one job is more likely to lead to another. He just didn't seem very interested in our project. <br />"

"As we began our kitchen renovation, we spoke with and received quotes from more than 7 different vendors.  We had fallen in love with Super White which is extremely hard to find, and is often accompanied by a very high price tag.  After comparing all of the quotes and meeting Paula and Carlos in person, it was a no brainer to go with them.  Not onnly did they have the very best Super White, they had the best prices to go along with them.  They are very professional, yet treat their customers and employees as family.  While doing the template, they were open to ideas and we even used one of my sons legos as the inspiration for the bump out around our range!  They were also very accommodating with the schedule and hit some pretty aggressive timelines in the middle of the holidays.  When I went in to lay out the final template on the stones we had picked out, I saw others that I loved even more.  I was really blown away when they let me change to them at the last minute.  I really can't say enough about them and have already been recommending them to friends and family. "I hired Graite Brothers to replace my Kicthen laminate counter top with granite and also for backsplash installation. Granite Brothers were very helpful and professional. They are very approachable and Eddie was always available for any questions even during weekends and nights. They made the whole process from granite selection to installation a very smooth and stress free experience. The pricing was very reasonable. In the COVID pandemic they completed job professionally while taking all health and safety precautions such as wearinbg masks and practising social distancing. They always cleaned up after they finished their work. I am very happy with the final product of our kitchen installation. I am very happy with their work ethic and professionalism. "We chose Galaxy Granite because they were 1/2 the price of Home Depot and 3 other companies! We went there to pick out our granite and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and informative. They came to our house in less than a week to do the measurements. Both men were so professional and polite. Again answering all our questions. Additionally, they would have come down to install the granite in 1 week! Most companies told us 6-8 weeks for delivery & install!! When they arrived to install, it was 2 different men who were equa!ly so professional and helpful! They were neat as a pin and made sure everything was cleaned up.
