"I contacted several electrical companies to correct problems in my home. Mister Sparky stood out from the other competitors based on our telephone conversation and the answers to my questions about the issues I was experiencing. I was offered a free inspection to determine what exactly the problems were. They offered to provide a copy of their business license and proof of insurance â this was assurance I wanted. The following day, Brandon (electrician) and Jamarcus (assistant) came to my house (Pelham, AL) and conducted a free evaluation of my electrical system, which took several hours to complete. I admired them going under the house in 105 Degree heat. Brandon and Jamarcus identified the problems with the electrical system. Brandon clearly defined what work was needed and what the results would correct. Several issues were deemed severe and needed immediate attention. Other items could have waited. His proficient knowledge and experience detected Brandon's 17 years of being a certified electrician. Brandon explained my problems in very easy to understand language and showed me where the problems existed. Brandon and Jamarcus's demeanor, attentiveness, and attention to detail were impressive. Brandon ensured me that all work was guaranteed. I was to contact Mister Sparky and ask for Brandon if any problems arose after the job was completed. My wife and I chose Mister Sparky of Birmingham based on the free written quotation for the work, total breakdown of cost, and the financial options payment plans offered to make the repairs affordable, I selected Mr. Sparky first and foremost on Brandon's interaction with my wife and me. Brandon came across as a caring professional. Jamarcus was also instrumental in being detailed and focused on getting the job done correctly. "Ryan and the entire crew are terrific. We've used them twice now. I'm long overdue in posting this review. They upgraded our two electrical panels to GFCI last year, and we had them back again a month or so ago to upgrade our attic wiring and other miscellaneous upgrades. "From first contact to finished product Comfort Dynamics Cooling, Heating, Plumbing and Electrical everything was tremendous. The first call the problem was identified quickly and a detailed explanation was verbally provided and followed-up with a written document including photos. The estimator arrived the second day and performed another review of the system. Brian W. discussed several different options and provided the positives and negatives of each. He was extremely courteous and didn’t push the most expensive option. The installers showed up the next day on-time and took all precautions with our house and were extremely courteous. All representatives arrived on-time, the appointment text with names, arrival time and tracking is great and they all wore boot/shoe coverings anytime they entered the house. Highly recommend!"

"JD was a wonderful find. He is friendly, flexible, and
focused. I had retired from teaching in Brooklyn, NY to share a house with my
mother, and there were times when we needed skilled hands to help us with some
of the refurbishing tasks. He did all kinds of jobs for us, including painting (bathrooms
and porch furniture), hanging wall art and a stained glass window, replacing
doors, assembling a new bed with heavy head and footboards, replacing rotted
wood on exterior window frames, assembling other furniture pieces, and too many
other small tasks to mention.  He made my

"I put in my claim with choice home warranty and CHW setup an appointment for/with Demond electric company The technician arrived I paid the required service fee charge (the service fee varies per state -i have used CHW in 3 different states and the service fee was affordable for the 3 different states) The Demond Electric technician Paul was very very professional, polite, knowledgeable and did a great job."

"First, we had been pretty frustrated over the past few months trying to get this work done: people wouldn't call back or wouldn't show up or wouldn't follow through. So I finally just went on google to see what I could find in Tuscaloosa. That's how I found Halo Construction on Craig's List. I went to their website and sent an email asking if they did small jobs. Within hours I heard back from Kristy who was helpful and pleasant and gave me James' number with instructions to call him and ask for a free estimate. I did, and we set up a time for him to call to come by. I have to say this to be transparent, but this fell through. When I sent an email that evening saying I hadn't heard anything, James called the next morning, apologized profusely (it was real) and offered to come by immediately to do the estimate. He was here within 30 minutes. He not only gave me a good price but did the work the same day. He left twice: once to pick up a ladder, once to run to Lowe's for parts. Wasn't gone long either time and resumed work when he returned. Had one person with him at first; then picked more up when he was out. They weren't needed for this job, but all pitched in: efficient, professional--and I noticed how professionally they interacted with one another. Not only was the work great, but they were very considerate, moving rugs, picking up pieces of insulation, offering to take the ceiling fan boxes to the curb, offering to sweep up when they were done. This was a pretty small job for Halo; they usually do remodeling projects. James said his expertise is in flooring installations. (BTW, he also said he doesn't do electrical/wiring work but could recommend someone.) Bottom line: James and company couldn't have done more to leave a good impression. We're considering some bigger jobs for our house and won't hesitate to call on Halo again. (On another note, it's refreshing to find a Tuscaloosa business that's put itself "out here" to develop a reputation among its current and potential customers.)"
