Although the job was relatively small, it was labor-intensive, and they managed it without any problems. "Project: repair chimney Alan and Joey arrived on time and ready to work. They did a great job installing two stainless steel flue liners, one for the fireplace and one for the gas furnace, replacing the furnace pipe connection, and neatly closing up the entrance to the chimney wall. Repaired the top cap, installed top plates to lining system and installed two rain caps to prevent water, animals and debris from getting inside. On the outside of the chimney, repaired and replaced seven bricks with new mortar. Repaired crown with crown seal and attached new flashing at roof. Waterproofed chimney. Cleaned up all debris inside and out Very personable and efficient team. I am very happy with the work done on my 50 year old chimney."

"I want give a HUGE SHOUT OUT to Tim from Phillips Masonry Repair out of Wakefield NH!! He was one of 3 masons that replied to my post in July for a recommendation for a chimney/fireplace repair. Tim was the only one that actually showed up to look at it, on the same day he responded to me! He told us everything that needed to be done and wrote up a proposal the same day. He took pictures of the chimney top to replicate it as this chimney was built in 1952 by my Mom's brothers who were all mason's. We couldn't be happier with his work. "Both Josephs were responsive, courteous, and knowledgeable- They called and came to look at the problem within half a day of my initial inquiry. I was lucky that they happened to be working on another house just a couple of blocks away. So, they came the next day to do work : 1. Fill cracks on the ground, and build a run-off in the alley way to stop water from damaging the exterior wall, and going down to the basement. The basement did remain dry after 2 days of rain after. 2. a few days later, replaced 2 cracked bricks on the facade of the house. I am very impressed with how Joe F. took time to seal the mortar around the bricks so carefully...beautiful work. I recommend them very much!"
