"We were amazed at how hard working and diligent were Bryan and his crew in getting everything completed within a week. The project was delayed a little by rain and Bryan's previous project, but they made good progress with the time available before Thanksgiving. The arbor is massive with the swing, but provides a good barrier between our home and our next-door neighbors on one side, with the grill station that looks like a paver fort to provide privacy between our new sunroom and neighbors on the other side of our home. We are very pleased and are hiring Wallis Landscaping again to use pavers for our driveway."

"The team turned my desolate backyard into a pleasant place, suitable for outdoor living. They arrived on time and finished the entire job quickly (from 9:30 am to 2pm). I was impressed! They did a really nice job too! I would definitely recommend Atlanta Green Landscaping."

"I have hired Braswell Construction Group 3 separate times to do work on my house. They replaced my roof on a 5000 sq ft house, they did drywall work in my kitchen on the ceiling, and they also did several household repairs to help me sell my house. I have been dealing with Chris. He is very professional, always comes when he says he will (and from what I have experienced in GA with contractors, that means a lot!), and the pricing has always been fair. He talks through the process of each job and what needs to be done and gives you the pricing upfront. He has played an instrumental role in helping me sell my house. One of Chris's best attributes, he is always so pleasant to deal with. He has found cheaper solutions to problems other contractors were trying to charge me an arm and a leg to fix. I'm very glad I hired him to do all the work that was done. He is trustworthy!"

"Absolutely fantastic job done by Dixie Landscaping. Greg and Danielle are incredibly professional. I have a very busy schedule and they were able to work with me and ensure that my 5 animals were taken care of while they did this job in 1.5 days. Very reasonably priced and willing to work. That is something that was refreshing to see. What is not shown in the pictures, is that they came out two weeks prior to the rip-out and sprayed everything to ensure it was dead. They did not force me to pay upfront and accepted my payment over the phone since I didn’t have time to go to their office. Really fantastic company. I found them on Angie’s List. I had called four (4) other companies before Dixie which were recommended by friends, but literally not one of them even called me back. Greg called me right back and came out to view the property the next day. Danielle also allowed me to sign the contract digitally, showing that she is up to 2018! [*** Link removed ***]"

"I sent an email on the weekend and received a response the next morning. The provider let me know they do build garages but were unable to complete mine as noted above. The responsiveness was much appreciated! <br />"

"I called and asked for an estimate. He came out and gave me the estimate. I made some changes and he came out again and gave me a new estimate. We scheduled the work, he showed up when he said he would and finished the job ahead of schedule. My phone line was cut in the process of building the dry river bed and he called me immediately, apologized and said he would pay for any repairs. I am very pleased with the end result and the ease of the entire process. His estimate was a little higher than others I received, but the quality of the work was excellent and the final bill was exactly what the estimate said it would be."

"<p>They started out doing a really nice job, however, over time their quality has dropped off.  I have had to remind them several times about trimming bushes and, a number of times, have not mowed all agreed upon areas.  They have gotten a new office manager, who can't seem to get their accounting straight when it comes to additional work requested outside the agreement.  Needed to have some low areas in front yard filled in with soil which was a separate cost.  Did not do it the first year even though we had already paid for the soil and labor.  The next season they claimed they had completed the work, however, we never saw 5 yards of soil in the front yard nor did we see them do the work even though my wife and I were both at home the day they said the work was completed.  They then wanted to charge me again when they finally came out and filled areas with 3 yards of soil.  It was obvious for 3-4 weeks that low areas had been filled in with soil until the grass grew back in.  They tried to give us some lame explanation as to why we previously never noticed that 5 yards had been applied to fill in the same low areas.  </p> <p>Communications between management and their crews is horrible.  You discuss an issue with management and the crews don't correct the issue.  You discuss issues with the crews or office staff and it is miscommunicated back to management if it gets communicated at all.  We always felt their prices were higher than average, however, were willing to pay it as long as the quality was there.  We have now decided the quality is no longer there and we are tired of dealing with all the issues.  We have told them we no longer require their services and will be looking for someone new.</p> <p>To Andrew's credit, he is a very nice guy who always conducted himself in a professional manner and obviously very knowledgeable in his field.  I just believe he needs to employee better quality people if his company is to remain successful.</p> <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Franklin Springs, GA

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
