That part of the house had been renovated before we bought it, and the renovators had not followed code or good practices with their new plumbing. "The work that was completed was fine.  Donovan was efficient and neat in replacing the ceiling lights.  He was even able to answer an electrical problem regarding our house construction that has been annoying us for years.  The price is the huge drawback with the company.  $300 was expensive for the task at hand. We had a few minor tasks, like replacing a lightbulb we couldn't reach with our 6 foot ladder.  We were told it would cost us an extra $50 to put the lightbulb in.  We were providing the lightbulb; all we needed was a tall ladder to use.  Ladders were being used to replace the ceiling lights, so I was thinking it would be convenient for them to put the other bulb in.  But seriously, we were paying them $300 for other work, replacing a bulb didn't seem unreasonable to ask. Of course we didn't hire them for those parts to the job. We just borrowed our neighbors ladder.

"Tim did a great job with the replacement of our water heater. Even though it was the day after Thanksgiving he moved some of his other appointments around to come to our home that afternoon. Tim and his assistant were careful to put on shoe covers in the house and to observe COVID 19 precautions. The job required more complicated plumbing since we have a desuperheater loop from our geothermal heat pump that connects to the water heater; the additional charge for this work was minimal. Tim was here until after 5:00 that evening, with the result that we had hot water over the weekend."
