"Brad was professional, punctual and personable. Initially I showed him some bricks that were either loose or totally off our front steps to our house. We also needed some repair on a brick walkway set in mortar. Upon his extra thorough inspection of the steps, many more bricks were slightly loose. He gave me many options. He told me that the labor costs would be more extensive to repair all the bricks on the treads and suggested a solid stone tread. He offered options on this product and layout. The project turned out beautifully and looks like it should have always had the stone on the treads. He also pressure washed and sealed the walkway and stoop vastly improving the look. We built our house in 1995 and this was all original."

"First off, I will share that I am a Procurement Consultant and former Purchasing Manager and have regularly bid out services as well as advised clients on doing so. I’ve always had a “value first” approach and, while low price is important, it’s an overall value proposition that sells me on a company. We contacted 8 vendors for our project, which was to take an existing brick paver patio (approx. 14 x 18) and have it power washed, leveled, and re-finished (in this case, no sealer but swept with poly sand). I’ll take this opportunity to say that there are MANY predatory companies out there in brick pavers who are counting on an uneducated consumer. For our project, we received 7 quotes back that ranged in price from $475 to $3,810 for the project. Needless to say I dealt with a couple unethical vendors who tried to tell me I needed to have whole deck removed or some other line of bologna. The good news is that Austin Brick Pavers was one of the vendors that we sent a quote request to and who we ultimately selected. When Eric came out he was straightforward in what needed to be done and honest in that the work on the patio was mostly labor cost (and a few bags of cement and the poly sand). The price for the project was $580, which was toward the low end of our proposal options. Even better, there was no requirement for payment up front, which is why the low bid vendor was not chosen. The work was performed consistent with Eric’s timing estimate (just over a week out) and the two people who worked on it were both detail oriented and friendly. Eric even put down dirt around the patio so we could re-seed and have a finished look to the project. I’m pleased to report that, three weeks out, we are very happy with the work Austin Brick Pavers did and had an outstanding experience overall. "After looking at our two repair jobs, Nosh explained in detail the work he proposed to do and the cost for each.  He discussed the options with us for fixing the front porch brick, and we agreed with his recommendation to replace all of the bricks rather than a piecemeal brick by brick replacement (about half of the bricks were bad).  Nosh impressed us with his knowledge and professional manner, so we decided to have him do the work.  <br /> Nosh started in immediately, going to three different brick sources until he found bricks that would be a close match to the bricks on our house.  He started work on the porch promptly the next morning, arriving early in the morning and working until late afternoon when it started to rain.  He returned early again the next day and finished the chimney late that afternoon.  When working on the chimney, he had planned to replace 5 or 6 courses of bricks on the chimney, but found he had to go down about 9 courses instead (he had to buy additional bricks to complete the job).  He did not charge for the extra bricks or additional labor.  He also discovered a cracked section of flue, which he replaced for only the wholesale cost of the flue liner.  He also replaced one brick on the front of the house that had cracked, and again didn't charge for the extra work. <br /> We are very pleased with the final result.  Nosh did excellent work, and clearly takes great pride in doing a quality job.  He goes the extra mile to make sure everything is right, and when he finds additional unforeseen issues, he corrects them to make it right (the cracked flue liner is a great example).  He leveled a section of concrete sidewalk in front of the porch, and reset and secured the concrete step up to the porch at no extra charge.  He took the time to find the right bricks to match the bricks from 2 decades ago used on our brick house - you'd never notice the bricks had been replaced.  Plus he's a fun guy to talk to. <br />"

"Gary repaired the two brick buttresses that had pulled away <br /> from the main front porch by using a mortar formulated with latex to expand and <br /> contract to allow for changes in climate conditions. The structural wing on the <br /> left side of my home was deconstructed and rebuilt after Gary poured a <br /> foundation footing below the frost line to prevent another occurrence of <br /> fracturing through ice forming beneath the brickwork. Later I will get a price on demo and replacing <br /> the floor in my two car garage.
