"We received 3 estimated but had some concerns about each. We then called EJ Paving. Steve arrived on time, answered our questions, and followed up with a written estimate. Work began within two weeks. They spent a few hours on day 1 - removing the old asphalt and preparing the surface. Two days later they were back to lay the new driveway. A large crew was used which helped the project flow smoothly. Everyone was friendly and professional. The job was completed about a month ago and, thus far, we're quite happy with the result."

JLP was the first responder, calling me the very next day after I left msg, which was on the weekend (I was very impressed that they called me back on the weekend). They made an appt to come out and look at the driveway within days. <br /> The person they sent out was experienced, and was one of the people that actually does the work. So he could answer my questions about what could be fixed, how it would be fixed, and how much the seal coating could actually extend the life of an already beat up driveway. I sent him an email with follow up questions, which he answered within 24 hours with extraordinary detail - something I did not expect at all! He was professional, knowledgable, punctual, and seemed to truly want my business (and this is a business that does a lot of business in the area, so they weren't desperate!). <br /> I selected them to do the work, and found a coupon I had for $25 off AFTER I had made the appt. It said that I had to present it at the time of the estimate, but when I asked if I could use it, they said of course! <br /> They were punctual for the appt, and the results were better than I had hoped for. The next day something or someone had put a 2 inch hole in the and quot;fillerand quot; at the end of the driveway and when I contacted JLP to ask how I could fix it, they said that they would be happy to come by and fix it for me at no charge (and it wasn't even their fault!). Turns out my town paved my road shortly after that and the excess covered the hole, so I didn't need JLP to come back out, but what impressed me when I asked about that small issue, they said they wanted me to be happy with the results and were willing to do what was needed to ensure that. <br /> Overall, VERY professional, knowledgeable, respectful, prompt, and a high quality job. I will have them back in a couple years! <br />"
