"I found GenJazz through Angi, and Fernando came by and measured, took pics, and listened to what my wife and I wanted. He was friendly and personable. Super nice guy. Really appreciated that he understood what we were trying to do with this space. His quote wasn't the cheapest, but it did seem the most responsive to our vision. We made some changes on the fly. After initial demo, we decided we wanted to upgrade the stone around the bath as well. We made changes to the glass surround choice, even sourced a reasonably priced custom cultured marble shower pan, which Fernando and his guys thought would look great. They were SUPER responsive, and tried to help us save money where it made sense. Also, ALL of the guys that did the work were kind, thoughtful, and polite. Alfonso, Joe, and workers were great with my wife, 4 kids, and puppy, who were always around since we homeschool. They cared about the quality of the work. Super happy with the bathroom, and would pick them again!"

In our master bedroom, to take advantage of a fantastic view, they removed a large window from one wall, sealing it up like new, and installed a similar window on another wall. The work was performed quickly and skillfully, with great results. They also turned the double door leading into that room into a single door, creating more space in the room. Concurrently, in the guest bathroom, the old tub was removed, and a beautiful walk-in tiled shower was installed, along with a window with a fantastic view. The project manager Rick was a pleasure to work with, and his team were all professional, conscientious, and friendly. Everything turned out just as we imagined. Having now worked with Raul, I would hire him again in a heartbeat. His labor costs are very reasonable. He demonstrated excellent work ethics. Once the job started, he worked to finish it. There were a few hiccups beyond our control that caused delays and while I freaked out some, he remained calm, flexible, and focused on solutions that kept the work flowing. As the work did progress, I asked for additional upgrades that were not part of the original job estimate. To which he seamlessly agreed to. He also offered a few suggestions which I agreed to and I'm so glad I did. The quality of work is excellent. He was helpful throughout the entire process. General building contractor who currently works independently and is looking to grow business to hire one employee. I do mostly carpentry and cabinet making my self. I do perform other trades depending on how much there is. I have good dependable subcontractors that I call when necessary. Depending on the size of the job, I ask for down payment and progress payments or may just wait to bill the job once it is complete.
