"Once we agreed to go with JC Construction, they set a date to repair the roof.  On the agreed to date the come out and repaired the roof, but failed to tell us when they would be out to complete the interior work.  After several weeks, they called and set a date to do the interior repair.  They came out on that date and did the interior repair.  The quality of their work was very good, their initial response and repair was prompt and their crews were professional.  Our only issue was the uncertainty regarding the timing of the exterior and interior repair, which in hind sight, I probably could have prevented by contacting them more often."

"I had a long list, at the top of which were two items: replacing the sliding closet doors in the den and fixing the fountain in the back yard. He loaned me his hand pump and I twice cleaned out the fountain for him, but he never got around to fixing it, thought I pulled the whole thing apart. The closet doors didn't seem to interest him, either. He did the chores I listed above. This was the second time we had worked together, and I had enjoyed the first time and appreciated his work. This time was like working with a different person, not really invested in his job. Considering he charged $300 for the water heater, fair enough, the little chores also cost $300, which seems steep. He told me to call him when I bought a replacement pump, and I did, but he never returned my call. <br />"
