"I had Simply Gutters out recently to replace some older gutters and downspouts on my home. They also added a section of new gutters to an additional area as well. The two person team worked efficiently to complete the project in a reasonable amount of time. The final results looked great. I’m confident their quality product will perform well in the long term. I did opt for gutter covers as well, due to the presence of several large 60 year old maple trees on my property. The covers are a great upgrade, versus the cheap plastic inserts I’ve used in year’s past. Do be aware that Simply Gutters may well prioritize jobs they obtain working as a subcontractor for various roofing companies. As such, they may be somewhat less responsive to direct outreach. This was my experience. How such an arrangement will factor into your final cost is unknown. All said, however, still a very positive experience and well recommended to any interested homeowner looking for a gutter upgrade."

"Really can't say enough good things about my experience with Cady Handyman Services.   After reading about them on Angie's List, I contacted the company via email and received a quick reply.  Tom came out to give me a quote on the job and was professional and thorough, while also being friendly and helpful.  He took pictures and was nice enough to do a little patching even before they got the job.  Jim the owner was extremely helpful as he worked along with my insurance company behind the scenes. 

After all systems were go for the job, the work was scheduled within a couple of days.  Tom came out with a young helper, Danny, and I felt comfortable around both of them.  The materials they used were high quality, and they were willing to spend the time necessary to do the job right.  They completed the work for the price they quoted, even though it took longer than expected because of some problems with the way my original door had been installed.  They were more than willing to help with a couple of little odds and ends I needed. Afterwards, they cleaned up thoroughly and put everything together much better than it was before.

I have already recommended Cady to my friends, several of whom are single ladies who need help with a variety of jobs around the house.  I plan to have them build some shelving in my garage and in a closet.

Initially we contacted him to replace some 65yr old windows, and he was the only contractor to bring to our attention that we had hail damage on the window wraps, siding, gutters, and roof. "Called another company originally they asked how old the furnace is and I said about 5 yrs. old (it is 6 yrs old). They informed me that I should get a hold of the company that put it in because it should still be under warranty, which after I looked it was. So I called Service Today to set up an appt. to have them look at it. Andrew came out and with various questions asked I said that the thermostat we have is wifi and that is how we run it. Comcast upgraded the wifi in the neighborhood the day before and it was today I woke up and noticed that the thermostat wifi was not connected to the wifi anymore. He looked into it and noticed that when I put it on heat via by phone app or manually by the wall thermostat, it was turning on the A/C instead and visa versa. He came at a price to me of about $350 to run a diagnostic to find the issue. He did and then he comes back and tells me that the thermostat itself is burn out (I bought the thermostat from them when I had the new furnace installed 6 yrs. ago). Andrew goes to his van and of course comes with only 2 thermostats that he has on hand. One is not wifi and it was $350 or so and the other was $800 which was wifi programmable. He did say we could just go and get one from Best Buy or something but we would have to install it. We decided on the lower cost of the 2. As he was installing it I looked up the retail cost for the same exact one he was putting in (Honeywell T4Pro) and it was $75 at Best Buy. I mean really.........that much of a mark up in cost!!! It is like this company does not understand that we are in a pandemic and that money for so many people is really really tight!! To gouge customers like that. As I sat in my office crying about the cost I let myself get washed into, after a while I asked Andrew why such a big cost increase on the thermostat. He said he has nothing to do with the pricing of items, which I understood. Andrew was a nice guy and just doing his job. I put this gouging at the feet of the company because right now, people have to decide to either pay a heating/electric/etc. bill or pay a company a massive cost to have a thermostat put in. Andrew did take down some wires that were for a humidifier that was on the old furnace prior to installing the new one and also cleaned some dust and lint from the furnace. Will I call these guys again, only if I know that there is something wrong with the furnace that is under warranty still, other then that, I cannot afford them. They were better when they were Airtech. The C rating I gave it has more to do with how nice Andrew was then the company. For the company itself, I give it an F"
