"Overall, it went quite well. But, the quality of the work depended quite a bit upon the employee who came. Some of the craftsmen who work for House Doctors do excellent work. Some of them, however, seem to overlook very important details like centering a light fixture or ensuring that the light box is on straight. "Our MRI center underwent a serious renovation follow the purchase of a  new  high field scanner. The renovation involved demolition of an exterior wall to remove the old scanner. The new scanner was installed and the exterior  wall was rebuilt with a new 5x8 window. The wall was built to blend in with the old exterior seamlessly. Golden Hammer Inc. worked with another construction company to replace the existing wall and install the new window.  <br /> In addition to the structural changes, Golden Hammer Inc. designed and remodeled the lobby, kitchen/staff break room and bathroom in the office. Their designs were contemporary, yet timeless and gave our office a beautiful sophisticated look that fit very well with our new scanner. They found materials that fit within our budget but also made our office unique and beautiful. The changes made to the bathroom really brought it up to date and we feel more than comfortable that we can accommodate our patients.    <br /> The renovations were exactly what we asked for ascetically, but they also met the standards set by the MRI manufacturer. A highlight of the remodel was a custom desk that Golden Hammer Inc. built for the technologists. The granite matched the paint and flooring and also housed the necessary equipment for the MRI techs. The custom cabinets allowed us to store our medical supplies, radio and computer out of sight of our patients. The desk is stunning, but its function was not compromised. At our Open Houses we have received many compliments on the desk. "Carrigan Construction was a Great Choice!! We just finished a large remodel of our kitchen and master bath with Carrigan Construction. Our home is over 30 years old, so there was a lot to be done. The remodel included demolition of walls, closing off a window, moving a pass way, adding natural gas and much more. We received two estimates prior to selection and one was a high end and well know company in Gainesville. We selected Carrigan for a number of reasons, one which was cost. The other company provided a significantly higher estimate with much less renovation. We were extremely pleased with the relationship and outcome that we quickly established with Natasha and Bobby. As the project concluded, it was much more impressive than we could have imagined. They are skilled and talented, but our satisfaction was related to more than just the end product and included the whole process and experience. Some of these additional benefits were their extreme flexibility, patience, timeliness and communication. I think they revised our initial plan six or more times prior to starting. We even added additional work throughout the renovation, including closing off a fireplace and re flooring the most of the house. They provided a very detailed estimate and revised it throughout. Most important to us, they provided an aggressive timeline initially and we were more than impressed that they held to that timeline even with all of the additions. We have enjoying our remodel for three weeks now and feel very fortunate that we selected Carrigan Construction and would highly recommend them."

"If you ever heard of a horse whisperer, then Todd is a house whisperer. We hired him to do a number of things needed to get insurance on an old house we purchased. He got everything done literally the day after we moved in and came in under budget. And the insurance agency was able to sign off on the repairs needed to maintain the insurance policy less than a week after moving in. We couldn&#39;t be happier. He also identified a number of crucial repairs that our original inspector (from a different company) missed. For example, the original inspector found two issues with the electrical and that is part of what we hired Todd to fix. When Todd was fixing this with his crew, they found several other electrical fire hazards in the attic and went ahead and fixed them without addition charges. For another example of spotting something the original inspector missed, a support beam was removed and is missing from the front porch where the roof is now beginning to tilt and fall without support. This is very noticeable now that it has been pointed out to me but it was missed by the original inspector. Todd noticed it right away and gave us a fair estimate on how much it would be to repair. Additionally, after completing the work we needed for insurance, Todd was able to offer new four point and wind mitigation inspection paperwork to further lower our insurance cost. I highly recommend Todd&#39;s services for work needed. Go with him for the original inspection before buyinge a house. He has a seasoned eye for this stuff and shows a sincere attitude to provide the best service for his clients and isn&#39;t trying to push any services. And when it came to getting the repairs done we needed for insurance on the house we just purchased, he got it done literally in one day after we moved in. And went above and beyond fixing additional things not noted by the insurance company paperwork without additionally charges. Like I said, he came in under budget and then saved us money on insurance. We are pleased with the work and will be using his company for a number of other projects in the future such as remodeling a bathroom."
