"When I saw my refinished oak floors for the first time, I cried tears of devastation. After paying over $6000 to have the floors in my newly purchased dream home refinished, I came home to find footprints in the stain, chatter marks, pooled staining along our baseboards, and splotchy stain throughout. I have honestly never seen floors so poorly finished. We had the company return to fix the most egregious areas of the home but could not even bear to risk having them re-do entire rooms for fear that they make the flooring even worse. The company was very kind and easy to work with... they just dont have the skillset required to do quality work. We are already saving to have them re-done by another company in the future."

"A year ago, we had William refinish our floors; he did a great job-- also on painting! Sadly, during the year a dog became in ill an unbeknownst to us had accidents on a rug covering the newly done floors- the moisture seeped into the wood; it needed to be repaired. William did the repair for a reasonable price. Unfortunately, initially the repair didn't look good- I contacted William. He came back and agreed that it didn't come out as he'd hoped (he'd had to replace boards, re-stain and varnish the area). He came back again, re-did the work for no additional fee and it looks GORGEOUS. He showed great integrity and commitment to quality- his disappointment in the original repair was evident on his face. He is not always super quick to get back to you- but I found him to be responsive to polite persistence. He is now my "floor guy"-- we're moving and he'll be the person I call for any flooring related needs."

"Refinished Bruce Pre-finished hardwood in kitchen, dining room, living room and master bedroom. Performed three repairs on water damaged wood. Installed LVP in two small bathrooms. Hardwood refinishing came out really well! Was not the least expensive estimate but offered a refinish process that was more thorough. Repairs came out well, and the LVP in the bathrooms looks good. Took a day longer than planned but results were worth it. Highly recommended!"

They also removed a couple of boards that were split and replaced them with reclaimed flooring that I provided. All in all, an excellent job, I am happy with their work."

"It went very well.  Mr. Masood was responsive from the start.  He even brought a large number of heavy sample squares to our home after he closed his shop, at his suggestion, because we live some distance away.  We were very appreciative, but in a subsequent visit to his shop, I realized it really is better to go there to see all samples and possibilities.  The two flooring technicians arrived within the time frame we expected and worked very hard and efficiently, plus they were friendly and professional.  They did an excellent job, to include cutting and replacing floor mouldings in both the kitchen and bathroom. Sawing was done on our deck to avoid sawdust inside the house. We had to hire our own plumber to remove a toilet and vanity and replace them after the job was done, so that cost was not included in the service cost. The price seemed reasonable, though it was higher than an estimate we got last year---however, we were not convinced that particular company was experienced with floors other than hardwood and so we relied on D&S's good reviews. Our receipt did not detail costs, except for the identification of the laminate to be used, measurements, and the total cost of the job.   Our own research convinced us that the cost was not excessive and was probably very competitive, and workmen of the caliber of the technicians who installed our floors are not always easy to come by.  In short, it is clear that Mr. Masood and his staff take pride in their business and desire to give customers the best service and outcome possible. <br />"

"We had some water damage recently and called Aaron because he had done such an outstanding job when we remodeled the hardwood on all the four floors in our townhouse a year ago. Aaron was immediately responsive and quickly gave us a fair quote. While part of the job this time was relatively straightforward (which he did quickly and efficiently, blending the finish seamlessly with the undamaged flooring), part of the job entailed replacing an unusual type of wood that is not now generally available. Aaron went the extra mile, calling in whatever chits he had to find us a wood that, in the end, was actually better than the original. His team did a fantastic job pulling up the old, damaged floor (which was glued down), leveling the underfloor and installing the new floor. Could not be happier with the attention we were given and the workmanship of the crew."
