"This is an update to my original review for Home Town Restyling, posted on 12/01. Not only did Dave post a reply to my review in which I wrote about not receiving the Casey's gift card, he gave me a call. In that he apologized more than once for the card not being sent. He made it clear that HTR is dedicated to customer service and maintaining a strong reputation. Today, a couple days after we spoke, I received the $50 Casey's card that he promised in his response and on the phone ($25 original card and an additional $25 for the misstep). I am pleased to update the review. HTR made a promise and delivered, and made a very good impression on me. Good business practice. Thanks, Dave."

"The initial contact was good and the price was fair. So they started the work and replaced the flat roof which went well. Then when they started on the chimney they found they would need to remove some of the roof to access everything which would be some additional cost. I agreed to this and they started the work but then there were delays and communication issues for over 2 months. They ended up not completing the job and leaving me high and dry to complete it myself."

"Schedulig was difficult due to vendor workload and weather. Once work was started it was completed in 2 days with good results. The roof looks the same 7 years later as when it was replaced. I assisted slightly to learn and watch progress and quality, <br />"

"The Schebler Company was extremely professional from start to finish. Charlie Crabb, equipment sales, provided all requested information and quoted several different alternatives. He also performed a heat loss/heat load calculation on the property to assure proper sizing. Mike Nelson, the installer, did a great job and takes a lot of pride in his work. Two days after installation I requested assistance from Schebler due to a health problem that I have. Charlie responded immediately, and came to my house within hours to assist with and resolve the situation. I was extremely pleased with all aspects of the project. Schebler is top notch in customer service. <br />"

"The first unit was delivered in a timely manner. However, the carrier did not adhere to the shippers warnings about product fragility and the unit was received in a damaged state. The unit was sent back to Classic Copperworks for repair.  The repair was treated as a priority by Mr. Threadgill, who had the unit shipped back to me in three weeks. It arrived in good condition that time. <br /> Mr Threadgill was very helpful in providing support in order to finish our project. He even had a caulking product sent to us in order to help with flashing the unit. That meant alot. <br /> I am not a professional contractor, but was able to install the unit myself with his support. However, my profession does provide me the opportunity to serve the public and as such, I feel that I am more than qualified in commenting on good service. While Classic Copperworks may not be the cheapest provider of goods and services, they stand behind their product and provide great support. It requiress a "leap of faith" to order an expensive unit from an out-of-state provider with no prior mutual history, but I can attest to my complete satisfaction. <br /> WRS <br /> <br />"

"Work went fine. 9 months later when I could actually get down in crawl space I found that there were several areas where plastic was not taken to outside walls as was contracted. They cleaned up 25 years of other contractors leaving their trash behind and then left theirs' behind. The spray insulation cans were laying all over. Contract said mold was supposed to be re checked in a year but nobody has come back. I have called and talked to the owner 3 times and he told me he would be by. The fourth time my call was never returned. Always get several bids and get multiple referrals. <br /> <br />"
