"He was good about calling initially and writing up a proposal.  However, he forgot about it or something of that nature because of instead of taking 1-2 weeks as he promised it took over a month.  And, I had to keep calling him to remind him because he kept forgetting.  He was very nice but somehow I think my job was getting lost in the shuffle.  When the guy came to do the work, I didn't know he was coming and he just showed up.  Luckily I was home.  He ground the stumps.There was a problem with one of them and the owner was going to check on it and get back to me.  The owner never got back to me on the decision and the worker just told me it couldn't be done.  That upset me since I had questions about it but the owner was not there.  Also, all the chips were left.  I told him I wanted them removed, but I the worker said it would cost extra.  I had assumed they would be taking them.  I wish he had asked me about this so I could have prepared.
All in all, the job was done appropriately and the worker did clean up.  However, I was dissatisfied with the management of the job.

"Communication with the owner/manager was very good prior to scheduling.  He was easy to contact and always returned calls promptly.  We had to reschedule a few times to find a date that worked for both of us.  Once the work was scheduled, two young men came to do the landscape work.  We had purchased a deal for 8 hrs. of labor, or 4 hrs. with two men.  They arrived on time and began work very quickly, once I discussed my needs.  They worked steadily and hard, digging out weeds and dead shrubs, trimming back roses, putting in top soil, garden soil and many new plants.  They moved a lot of rocks and replaced them after work was done.  They cleaned up all the debris and bagged it for us to dispose of.  They moved all the bags to an area that made it easy for us to put out for pick up.  They were polite, friendly and completely professional, and completed the work within the time allotted.  We are very happy with the work performed and it was well worth the cost.  I would definitely use this provider again.
